Was a little worried after reading all the bad reviews, but actually had an absolutely fine experience with no hitches at all.The numbering might be confusing, until you bother to actually read your number ticket - they clearly use a single set of number instead of having a separate set for each service, but different counters do different services. Which, I guess, can be a -little- confusing, but not the complete disaster people make it sound like.

Very unpolite and unfriendly service.I had entered the data on the website before bringing my box in person but their system was not working and the woman at the desk was angry and shouting like it was my fault their system did not work.On top of that, it took almost 3 weeks for the box to arrive to Italy.Better use UPS or some other more reliable service.

Incredibly useless. Long waiting times, ancient systems, and for some reason require ONLY physical passport to collect a regular package (not registered). When asked about it, I received the answer ‘you foreigners must bring only passport’, despite having drivers licence, resident card and a passport scan on my phone. Amazing establishment in this day and age.

One of the most pleasant post offices I know on site. Always served fast, competently, with a smile, even with some humor... BUT one star goes away due to the package delivery staff from DEPO 704, which nearly NEVER delivers any packages at home. They never ring the bell. Nothing helps to fix this problem, but hey, this is the Czech Republic. Who cares...

So, my experience at this post office as a real human foreigner hasn't been bad at all. I received parcels twice here (one from Japan, one from Greece), after receiving SMS that there was delivery attempt but I wasn't there. At the ticketing machine at the entrance I got the ticket for receiving parcel, then I waited for my number to be displayed sitting on a chair inside (some people choose to wait at the entrance standing but, inside there are many chairs for anyone). In 10 or 20 minutes my number was displayed on the monitor, showing which desk I need to go to. I would go to the desk, tell them I'm there to pick up a parcel and show the SMS about the parcel. They asked me to show them my passport, one parcel from outside EU needed some tariff so I paid by credit card, and they gave me the parcel. No big issues, at all. It would be good to be able to speak some Czech because you can't expect staff to speak English, but I think you can get by with Google translate too.Oh, not relevant to this place, but one time I did not receive any SMS about attempted delivery and they just left a paper in my mail box in my apartment building. I recommend checking your mail box regularly especially when you're expecting some delivery. Cheers :)

ONE HOUR TO PICK UP ONE LETTER!!! Most inefficient system I’ve ever witnessed in any post office I’ve visited. It was during this time that I managed to write a reply to the letter I was picking up, already asking to never contact me via Czech post ever again.

Supper inefficient, zero customer service. Even worst when not speaking well czech. Waiting time I cannot take back. 10mins for them to change the paper to be able to get ticket, 5mins to get the electronic screen working to call the ticket, +5mins to call the number (as everybody is 'busy', feeling the customer is really not on the priority list. )

Extremely rude postal lady Magdalena Lukešová doesn't wear the COVID protection and puts everyone in danger by yelling and spitting at the public. Photo attached. I have talked to the boss of the place, the extremely overweight postmaster general, and she said to leave her alone, that she is doing all she can! Communism is still alive in this place for sure!

Yeah Czech Post point. Needs no introduction. Just one of those legacy organisation which should be reformed from top to bottom. Ridiculous ancient monopoly. Kind of unbelievable it’s management gets away with it.
