Great show, but it stincks from fungess in the basement

This is not your usual classical theatre, but I saw many plays here, and the premises are just fine for modern or underground production. They host a lot of plays in English including performances from Fringe festival. The atmosphere is usually relaxing and informal. They have a small bar where you can buy drinks and snacks. If you haven’t been there yet, I suggest to choose a play and experience this theatre yourself.

This theatre is discriminating people!I was there and was rejected to enter because I was not vaccinated, but had a test done. The staff insulted me by saying that I am no one in this world if I was not vaccinated. They called police even though I didn’t do anything wrong, and was speaking to them without any aggression! I wasn’t minding the police to come, maybe the police would explain them that they were wrong by doing so, but I just didn’t bother to explain it to them anymore.They just ruined the mood with their insults! Will never go there again.P.S. This happened on 20.11.2021, before 22.11.2021, so basically the restrictions that government had issued were not applied by then.If I could I would put zero stars!

Lovely theater that often puts on English language productions.

Saw the PSC performing King Lear. It was enthralling from start to end. King Lear and the Earl of Gloucester were particular standouts.

Love this small theatre. Nice bar and cafe area. Only drawback are a lot of stairs in awkward positions or at awkward angles. It's definitely not accessible, due to its age and location.

Sweet little theatre in a great location.We went for the first time to see Plot Twist by the Prague Shakespeare Company and loved it. The size of the theatre is quite intimate which really complimented the production.Cash only bar when we visited.

Great theatre with English performances!

Cozy little theater in Mala Strana, it has a small bar and lounge. The Godot performance is/was great, fantastic acting, good entertainment. However the building itself is very cold which spoils the pleasure of watching the plays when one is freezing to death...

Great students' plays from Prague Riverside International School and many more. Famous Czech actors started their career there.A bit small and steamy place, which is not disadvantage as it gives the precious feeling of cosiness and family and friendly atmosphere. Located in a bit hidden lane not far from the Veltava river.
