Beer Restaurant U Zlatého Hada
Ordered the goulash in a bread bowl. The bread was very good, some sort of caraway seeded flavour. The goulash is terrible though. Tasted of an intense beef stock, and didn’t seem fully mixed (some congealed elements). The meat was tender, but not a huge amount of it to make up for the terrible stock flavouring.I think this restaurant is decent, but suffers from tourists being overly optimistic in their ratings. This is ok for a pit stop, but I regret making the journey for dinner; definitely not worth it.It did make my brother sick (immediatley). The bill also showed that the water was outrageously, ridiculously expensive.

Fantastic place!Very tasty and fresh food, good beer and great service.Go-to for authentic Czech food experience, much better than regular touristy places.

Cool little place. Being that i didn't know much Czech, very thankful the staff spoke English.The food was well prepared and well presented with excellent portion sizes and reasonably priced.I will always opt for a salad with feta cheese and in this case, it didnt disappoint. The fried cheese appetizer was also delicious.It was all washed down with a glass of Czech beer.Great food selection at a great price. I would highly recommend.

Tasty variety of traditional and modern dishes.The burger was big and juicy. The fries were crispy and a big portion was offered.The restaurant is located conveniently in the center of the city and offers an welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.

Came for lunch at 11.45.Quick and friendly service. Great food. Nice music. Good toilets though downstairs. We got the gullasch soup in bread and duck.Huge recommendation!

The goulash was not only delicious, but it sapped the cold out like a charm, great level of spice and flavour, being served in a bread is just a nice plus.Beer roasted sausages had a very nice sour sweet flavour, a taste of beer that is really enjoyable, and a crisp bite; great for sharing before the main course.Their selection of beer is a bit limited but they push a really good one.
