Autokemp Karlštejn

One of the best campsites I have stayed in- been many times. Rather stay here & commute into Prague & avoid busy influx then return for the quiet relaxing evening as visitors leave. The guy who runs it, Karol, is a really nice person though often he refers you to his lovely daughter who speaks English. The walks in the forest of the Berun valley are superb with climbing possibilities nearby on the cliffs near the river. Only problem I had was smokers in the toilet block. Recommended.

Great camping along the river, but dont put your tent to close to a tree because some molehills may appear underneath your tent. But an ideal small camping when you want to visit Prague or want to bike or hike in an beautyfull environment

A great place for those who want a quiet summer vacation, and also an excellent place to spend a day with friends and have a barbecue.

The camp is quite well equipped all the basic things you would expect plus wifi, a beach volleyball​ course, table tenis tables, small football field,table football and a bar with some snacks. The only thing I did not like is that they could clean up the spidernets more often but since its near river there is quite a lot small​ flies around I guess the nets do more good than bad.

My family and I stayed at Kemp Karljsten for four lovely days during August 2019.The campsite is excellent: clean, well maintained, chilled, with a bar and food takeaway on site. It's located beside the Berounka river which is clean and safe for bathing. There are fire pits and you can have your own blaze.The staff are friendly and helpful - we didn't speak any Czech they didnt have a great command of English, however everybody made themselves understood.Castle Karlstejn is about 20 minutes walk from the campsite and I can thoroughly recommend taking the comprehensive tour. it's very interesting - the castle is excellently preserved.There's a station on the other side of the river with a direct train to Prague every half an hour.Overall a top spot - you can relax in the countryside, swim, and hike in beautiful scenery while still having easy access to Prague city centre.5**

Great place for camping if you have a car or just a tent :)

This is really good place to visit with kids, you can do bundle of activities like boating, Grilling, Beach volleyball, table tennis, long tennis, camping, staff is very friendly. They can't speak English.

Camping with free showers and very clean toilets. It's based against the water where you can swim or go fishing. There's a bar with food and drinks on the camping. Also there's a very nice village with stores, restaurants and a beautiful castle 1km from the camping. And if you want to visit Prague, there's a train station on the other side of the water that will take you right to the center. Had a great time here!
