Supermarket BILLA

i came from america to look at local shops and was shocked dirty on the floor other people's hair the counter with bread was not closed and people took flour products with their hands 1 star i'm horrified

It's ok, average billa, they have groceries and some basic drogerie. It is sometimes quite difficult to park here. The parking place is small.

One of the better Billas in town, yet the vegetables and fruits always look a bit sad and carry a hefty price tag. The shop doesn't offer much of a variety and quite sadly, the noname products sold under the Billa brand are probably the best quality products (most likely because they are not made for the Czech market). If you can't get good quality products in the Czech Republic, it wouldn't hurt offering more products from Austria, Germany and other prime markets. It's actually quite surprising that Billa Czech Republic is part of the Rewe Group, considering how bad the quality and variety of products is. Both Rewe Germany and Billa Austria are top notch supermarkets while Billa Czech Republic is just one of many supermarket chains without any understanding of quality and customer service. That being said, they are better than Albert and Tesco (but worse than Lidl and far worse than Globus). This particular Billa store at least has a nice enough atmosphere and is way better than the two other nearby Billas (no-one really understands why we need two more Billas within a 700 meter radius)

Billa like billa, sometimes there is a lack with prducts. Anyway the parking is not so close as well as very often difficult to find a good place.
