Found this through maps, was very pleased! Friendly service (they put special Dutch music on for us!). Great menu selection paired with terrific food. On top of that the restaurant itself looked very nice. Only downside is that it's quite far from our hostel.

Great neighbourhood bar and restaurant, made around the concept of elementary school of the past. Excellent Czech beer, an interesting menu. But most of all... Staff with a great sense of humor and very friendly atmosphere. On top of this very good prices. Absolutely recommended for a cool, relaxed, fun time.

Food was average, nothing special. It tasted okay.The service in the evening was not good. It took like 5 minutes to get ask what we wanted to drink even the restaurant was nearly empty. We had to get to the counter that we could pay. Everything took a while.

I had a lot of smažak, but here is the best one in Czech Republic so far. Very good cuisine, friendly and efficient staff. I really recommend this place.

Service was friendly and great, food was amazing, super cheap and portions were large (about £16 total for the British reading this) and the restaurant is nice and cosy. Would 100% recommend.Edit: Visited again tonight, food and service both great. Consistantly good. Loved it.Edit (#2): visited again in July 2019, 3 years after my initial review and the above still rings true. The portions were big and the quality was good. Service was fast and friendly. Would recommend (again)!

The food was amazing, you are welcomed with warm hospitality. Loved, experiencing food from Czech and it giving you vibes of a Kenyan beef stew. Reminder of mum’s cooking. I would highly recommend this place.

I was here for lunch during work break with my boss. Their pork sirloin with baked potatoes was delicious. My boss had beef and it was very good too. The place has very nice ambience. I really like the atmosphere of the school classroom from the 1930. The prices for daily menu is below 200 CZK including side dish which is cheaper than in our office canteen. The service staff was helpful and told us the daily menu in English. We paid with credit card. We will for sure visit this restaurant often.

I come here every year when staying in Prague and always enjoy it. Amazing food for a small price. Super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.
