Four of us showed up and paid the 15 euro cover, then found they had only snacks and overpriced drinks. That was ok, because we were there for the music (which was good). Problem was that, before the music started, the proprietor approached us and told us we were sitting at a reserved table. We had purposely avoided the tables with the reserved" sign and chose one in the back with no such designation. I told him I'd happily give up the table if he refunded our cover charge

We just stumbled upon this jazz club and was the best decision we made! Had the best time listening to an impressive collection of musicians sipping on our sparkling red wine. Drinks were reasonably priced, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic, highly recommend!!

Saw the Adam Tvrdý Trio (who music-loving friends said we HAD to see while in Prague) at AghaRTA jazz club last night, and had the most incredible night. The band were some of the most talented musicians my friends and I have ever had the pleasure of seeing live - such a wide range of genres and absolute masters of their craft. The venue was incredible too - staff were able to help us book over email as we were visiting from London. Snacks and drinks available and such a beautiful space - one of Prague’s most famous jazz spots. Will definitely be back! Such a high calibre of live music!

We really wanted to visit one of Prague's many jazz venues, but weren't sure which one to pick. We ended up at AghaRTA, and my god was it worth it. Really fun atmosphere, cheap drinks, and Captain Fingers (the house band) was incredible. Oh, and great acoustics too. You must visit if you're in the city!

Lovely jazz and blues club, walked in on a Sunday night and saw a fantastic band for a very fair price. Drinks were ice cold, staff were friendly, band was on fire and the venue was air conditioned. Thoroughly enjoyed my night and will be back if I'm ever in town.

Excellent jazz! Really cool place, underground like a proper jazz bar. Good selection of drinks, no aperol sadly. Atmosphere was amazing. Best 300czk we spent in Prague!

Not sure if you like jazz? Try this and be convinced. A fantastic night of music (and beer of course) in this atmospheric old cellar in the heart of Prague. The Rhythm Desperados are a talented and exciting band who enjoy their music, and enjoy their audience enjoying the music. Modern jazz standards and lesser known pieces with a touch of funk, latin, and some sentimental bits thrown in. But seriously exciting solos and improv has the crowd cheering for more. Near full house on a Sunday night so book a table.The venue has a good bar menu with normal Czech prices but only light snacks, not dinner service. Jazz CDs for sale, and I bought the T shirt - much more memorable souvenir of Prague than a Clock fridge magnet.

A pearl in the area. Prague has many underground clubs and bars and this one is very nice! You pay an entrance fee of around 13 euros and the show lasts for 2 hours with a 30 min break. Very quality live performance.
