Borscht and kvass are very good. Unfortunately, pielmieni was completely inedible. The dumplings looked like they had been bought from the store.

Small, chill place with good selection of Russian and Ukrainian food. There's also a tiny grocery corner within the restaurant where you can get mostly Russian merchandise and food.

Vareniky were not so good, so I don't expect to come here again, but kvas was great and i would be inclined to try caviar if I ever appear again, because it look nice.

ordered food from this establishment as I wanted something homemade. The borsch is just terrible, I ate a couple of spoons and could not continue it, after a couple of hours my stomach ached and I got poisoned. I had diarrhea for five days in a row, I do not recommend this eatery to anyone.

This place looks totally old school and I believe that the owners are proud of that. If you are a person that finds antique things valuable, you will very much like the interior of this place.I recommend to go for vareniky. I had the ones with bryndza and they were very good. Also try kvas. I would describe it as Ukrainian or Russian Kofola. I know it from Ukraine, but I don't know about any other restaurant that offers it in Brno.There is a small shop inside of this place where you can buy Russian food and ingredients. Besides other things, you can buy authentic sweets, tea, alcohol and ice cream.

Great restaurant with excellent food and service. The atmosphere inside also deserves special attention. I really liked the cherry dumplings („Vareniky“). In general, the impression is only good, I recommend this place to everyone.

I am changing my review today after being handed the wrong meal, and having been, on more than one occasion, served a supposedly vegetarian meal that is, in fact, not vegetarian at all. (Fool me once, I know...) Today, the server asked which one of us had ordered the vegetarian dish, to which I said I had, and I was handed a plate. Surely, there could be no reason to doubt that the meal wasn't mine. After about five minutes of feeling unsure if it was actually vegetarian and not meat, I became certain that my partner's dish and mine had been mixed up. And after clarifying! Such lack of care and attention paid in this place. It is my choice to not eat meat, and I am ordering meals as such. To be handed a meat dish after this choice feels senseless. If a restaurant tries to be vegetarian-friendly, do it right and make an effort to serve those meals correctly. I've been vegetarian for years, and this is just disrespectful and careless behavior.
