Incredible preservation of history! Attended the festival Slavnosti" in July and it is a must see spectacle. Dancers and singers from all over the Czech Republic and Slovakia.If you want to watch the dancers and singers be prepared for a lot of standing and no stage to see the performers. They are on a dance floor ground level.You can walk around the lifesize museum and eat authentic foods and see a dance competition between young men - highly entertaining with all of their jumps and leaps.Craftsmen carving bowls and stamping fabrics and making hand strung sausages.Wonderful wonderful festival."

Visiting for 30 yers now. Getting nicer and nicer. Very fine familly place. Good to have a bite. They do old foods our ancestors eat. Good experience. With honey nice and sweet. Good visiting with kids. The village in the mountains is very nice and has picknick quality.

We were amazed by a historical place that we visited, which showcased a lot about the old Wlachia country. We were impressed with how the Czech tourism organization had tried to preserve the authenticity of the place, and we felt that they had succeeded in doing so. The visit took place in winter, and the snow added to the beauty of the surroundings.We highly recommend this historical place as a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to understand the Czech culture. The place offers a unique glimpse into the history of the country, and the authenticity of the place makes the experience even more special.

Great experience, I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to understand how our ancestors lived. Dogs are allowed. Entrance 100 Kč per person, 20 Kč per dog

Most amazing open Air museum that I have ever seen, definitely must see in this region.

Nice walk and our party of 11 adults/kids mix liked it although boys got bored quickly. Spent 5 hours there taking advantage of promotional tickets for all 3 rounds.

Always enjoy visiting this museum, today was free as it was childrens day. This museum has buildings either moved from previous location or copied from existing properties. Many have artisans using the buildings for their original craft Spent four hours in the lower two parts. Lovely day out. We will definitely be back again.
