So far only had food to go but I find it much more full flavored and authentic than any other indian place in Prague that I have tried. Also the takeout containers are made from aluminium unlike other places which assures food is still hot when you come home. Love it!

Family-run restaurant out in the suburbs. We were looking forward to trying this place after reading the reviews, but we were disappointed with the food. It's not authentic Indian food: the bhuna and the spinach dishes both lacked any real taste. The vegetables used appeared to be either frozen or from a tin. Not good.Side dishes: the pilau rice was pretty good. However, the naan was bland and oily. They don't accept payment cards.Prices are ok.

Avoidable. The first time we visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening at 8:30, we were sent away! They were closed. The next time we visited, the owner (a bangladeshi) said they close early on Sundays! But their website says they are open till 9. They do not accept card. Only cash. We were served Pita bread in the name of naan. The same Pita bread is available as cheap as 40CZK for 2 at a local shop. We were charged 90CZK. The vegetable bhuna dish we were served was loaded with oil and just cauliflower floating. Hanging photos from India, playing Indian music will NOT make you Indian!! Please learn how to cook Indian dishes!! Pakis and Bangladeshis should stop encashing India" name in their restaurants! Vegetarians- You can avoid this restaurant. I am not going back again. I shall rather prepare something at home."

We went on a Sunday and it was very quite, dispite this the service was quite poor and very slow. The poppadoms were very very very oily and the cost was more than double that in the UK. The shish kebab tasted excellent but again very oily, the meat samosa didn't appear to be home made, more from a packet. The Madras was overly spicy, so much so it spoiled the dish, it was also very salty and again very oily. The naan bread was from a packet and pobably microwaved as it went hard like a rock. Next time I would travel the extra 10mins in to the centre.

We were hungry for a curry and didn't want to drive al the way into Praha, so we tried this place. Looking at the review we expected good Indian food. The staff was quick to serve us and we're very friendly. But then we found ourselves waiting long for the food and in a cold room. When they finally brought the dishes they didn't bother to ask us for a second drink. The food looked good, but the taste didn't fit up to our expectations. The ingredients didn't look fresh. Probably frozen or from glass. My egg rice was dry and the naan didn't taste like naan.I don't want to say that we couldn't eat it, but compared to the standard of Indian food in Prague, this is not on the same level. They probably do their business because they have local customers who don't expect more.

2 years have past since we ate 4 meals in this place. The phall curry so delicious. Fresh ingredients. Friendly family business owners. I hope I can return some day. Where I live no delicious, affordable curry place exist (Geneva region). Curry Pot disappeared in the 1990s. Prague is a great place for tourists. Curry Masala is on the outskirt. Maybe 45 minutes by tram and bus. We lived nearby and I was driving.

In the area you would least expect is situated one of the best Indian - Bengali restaurant you can find in Prague. It is family run place, owner is a chief-cook. Very nice people. Cooked from basic ingredients, food is always freshly made, which takes a bit time - but waiting is worth it. Excellently flavored and if you wish, spicy, I mean really spicy. We are chilly freaks and this place rocks. Vindaloo is awesome, jalfrezi a treat and - it is only place we found where phall is HOT and has a great taste as well - try Chicken Dhaka Tikka Phall. Recommended.
