Unfortunately it was already closed because we were there out of main season but it's really beautiful there. The environement is just perfect especially during autumn. It is possible to take a boat on the damn in valley, to swim there etc.

Cornštejn is more a castle ruin than a castle.The ruin dominates the Bitov area and you can get some beautiful views from its walls.It's possible to drive all the way to Cornštejn and park at the designated parking spots. Getting here on foot is a bit more complicated - from Bítov's direction, you are forced to walk on the main road amongst traffic.The get inside the inner walls, you need to pay an entry fee.

Ruins of a castle from 14th century. The castle is only accessible with a guide. The ruins are beautiful with some nice views of the Vranov reservoir but the guide we had was not very good and thus we have not enjoyed it as much as we could have. Still worth a visit.
