Mining technology museum of the region telling story of good" old days. Impressive "underground" tour. Be sure you arrive in group of 6 or more people to not miss a ride in miner's train.Place itself is slowly falling apart and former employees are not skilled to tell you their story in foreign languages. Saturday are apparently much more lively to visit than Sundays."

This place is definitely worth a visit. The guide was fantastic, with excellent knowledge of the industry and the entire region. We particularly liked the model mine; some great effort went into creating it. Recommended!

It's a museum of mining, with focus on underground lignite mines. Quite good, but nothing special. You will see few exampes of machinery, hear some information about history of mining, security and mine rescue and visit a historical engine room. Certainly not a must-see.

The guide was fantastic. Even though his german was a little rusty, he really did a wonderfull job telling us about how the mining has developed through the last 150 years.
