Appetizer was great (carp carpaccio) and I was excited about the main dish to come. Unfortunately the trout was over cooked and dry! My friend had the same meal and said “nothing I could not cook better myself “ We only tried lunch and maybe dinner is much better but we had high expectations and we got super disappointed! Czech white wine we chose was also a disappointment… Service was excellent and desert was great as well.

The food was amazing, great presentation and great flavor. The staff was very friendly and spoke great English. They recommended us some great wines to go with the food. The cherry on top was that it was all very reasonably priced. We had a super dinner for the price of your average tourist trap, we had a 3 course meal with accompanying wine for under €50 per person. I would definitely go here when in Prague!

Professional staff know their job very well. Big choice of German, France, Austrian, Czech and Italian vines. Dishes were quite interesting and tasty. Children welcome, but I really recommend to go here without kids.

as soon as we entered, we were welcomed and offered 2 seats at the counter with a direct view on the kitchen.they took our coats in the cloakroom corner.there is no glass insulating the kitchen, and the cooks are not wearing gloves.we were offered bread and salted butter while waiting for our orders to be served.the environment is noisy, the service is good, but no table cloths, so that the cutlery is direct contact with the table surface.the waitress was great: attentive, nice, smiling.pumpkin soup was insane: best of my life.presentation of the dishes is something they take care of!the main courses are presented in a gourmet-like style, ingredients are several without exaggerations, very well matching with each others, and the quantity is proper (a little bit more would be perfect).the desserts are well finishe as well and original.the price is honest.the waiting depends on how much the place is crowded and can vary a lot; not being a fast-food, waiting for a long while shouldn't be a problem.I give 9/10.

Wow. This is how food is supposed to be. The waiters were extremely kind and spoke English fluently. I would recommend ordering a whole meal, an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert, coupled with amazing wine. They have a wide variety of wines, so you will find one you like. When your meal arrives, the waiters will explain what your meal contains and wish you to have a pleasant meal. They definitely deserve the Michelin Bib Award they got. Visit here if you are around, but don’t forget to make a reservation beforehand.

I would’ve loved to give 5 stars but there were some things not good: my dishes were really excellent, the wine was simply amazing, the interior is super nice, BUT: the main course of my partner was hugely oversalted (we had to tell the waiter, he did not ask how it was which I expect in a restaurant like that) and the water bottles had plenty of limestone (I hope it was just that) on them. Complaining of high level would be that the portions were too big almost. Overall I’d recommend though!

I was visiting Prague from London and had an excellent lunch at The Eatery.I sat at the chefs table and enjoyed watching the chefs methodically work away with precision and care (tasting every item they cook). I had the duck dish for lunch which was exceptionally flavoured with a star anise/five spice sauce that had an excellent shine to it. The potatoes were well executed and had a buttery burst to them, which paired really well with the red cabbage and the perfectly cooked duck.The dessert was a fun play on a chocolate cake, tasted everything like a cake but without any elements of a cake. The caramelised bananas were delicious.Overall excellent lunch, great service, exceptional value for money and lovely experience overall at the chefs table. My best meal in Prague for sure

I had a enjoyable experience at The Eatery. I opted to reserve a seat at the chef's table, and I highly recommend this choice as it allows you to witness the captivating magic happening in the kitchen. The service provided was impeccable, and the food itself was truly delicious. For my starter, I savored the white onion soup, which was rich in flavor and set a perfect tone for the meal. As my main course, I indulged in the charcoal-grilled beef, and it certainly lived up to my expectations.To complement my meal, I selected a glass of Czech white wine, which offered a unique experience compared to other wines I've tried. The portions served at The Eatery are generous, leaving me completely satisfied and unable to find room for dessert.Overall, I believe The Eatery is an excellent dining option, and I would definitely return to sample their other dishes. The price point is very reasonable, considering the high quality of food and service provided.
