Becher's Bar
The cocktails tasted very well. Unfortunately the big ice cubes displacing most of the liquid feel like a scam to me for this price. The bar‘s atmosphere is quite dark and very angled. Doesn’t feel very welcoming to me.

A fair bar1. It closes pretty late and that is the reason why we decide to eat in the bar, as restaurants in Karlovy vary closes at 8:30 (Ridiculous)2. The food is fair, the burgers are fair and the fried chicken is ordinary (It is very hard to screw up a fried chicken)3. Though the food is fair with not much creativity, the price of the bill is horrifying, it is a lot more expensive than I expected. It should be cheaper with such fair quality.4. The waiter is slow, it takes him 10 minutes to notice someone was waving at him.

Great bar, great drinks, atmosphere and great service.We stayed in the hotel therefore we visited this bar couple times.We were always happy :).It’s even dog friendly place !! ♥️♥️

Food OK not OTT. Paid €180 for bottle of cheap, local sparkling plonk, 3 weak cocktails (one of which, the oatmilk and vanilla cocktail smelled and tasted like a sick baboon's armpit), a few OK appetisers and a main course (the salmon which was nice).The price is really reflected in the service (waiters in white dinner jackets) with scripted responses to every menu items, and the whole 007 vibe, of course Worth a visit just for taking pics but save your money for cheaper restaurants in the area.

Completely overpriced. Staff in white dinner jackets making a great fuss announcing the exact preparation for some rather weak cocktails, some OK snacks. The salmon main was the best so far. Three cocktails (yes including their version of the 007 Vesper martini), a rather horrible vanilla oat milky concoction and a fizzy cosmo. Bottle of cheap white fizzy plonk. Whole bill came to whopping €200. Completely overpriced and not worth it unless you want to swing by the actual restaurant on the ground floor and eat in the same room as James Bond and Daniel Craig. I shudder to think what the prices *there* are like!

My husband and I went in the downstairs bar for drinks. The drinks were amazing and the corn nuts were good and spicy! The bartender was also very friendly and gave us good suggestions.

A nice hotel bar with dozens of very well made pictures of movie stars who frequented the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. There is definitely flair. Said atmosphere is a bit broken by details like fa foux book wall which cheapen the place unnecessarily down.That said: The drinks are solid.
