Le Caveau Pekárna
I've spent much time in France in an authentic village with several artisan bakeries. Le Caveau is better. Their croissants are fluffy and buttery soft. Their bread is simply the best in its class. It lasts well too. Thanks for making my mornings magical.

Great bread overall, big loads of rouge are the favourites. baguettes compared to 2021 quality drooped sharply, a shame ..Very nice selection of French cheese and wine to recommend, Bordeaux's specifically here are a great choice with good prices, keep this up..

I started eating their bread from last year, but now I feel more and more depressed.is it croissant? I feel like I'm eating a piece of white bread that was not sold out yesterday. Are you kidding? This level! Doesn't the boss manage it? I know that Prague has always had a low level of food. I don't ask for anything anymore. I haven't compared it with the bakeries in Paris and Berlin. But is this a croissant? Not even as good as supermarket standards. I don't care about the price, but is this level really embarrassing to sell? I don't know what language to express my feelings, and I won't buy their croissants in the future.

Excellent fresh french bread daily and one of the few shops in Prague that store red wine properly - in a wine fridge st the right temperature!

I absolutely love this place! Fresh bread which is so good, the most soft and light baguettes and crispy croissants. A little gem. They do also speak english (very nice for us expats) and accept credit cards. My warmest recommendation

Best bread in Prague. The croissants are average at best, definitely not what I expected, and the staff are often rude and never wear masks.

It takes me an extra ten minutes to walk here instead of to the bakery chain by my apartment, but it's so worth it. I wish every city had a bakery as good as this one. The staff is always friendly, and they open at 7:30 every morning (closed Sundays). Try the Špičák, which is a sourdough baguette-style loaf (with pointy rather than rounded ends) made with a mix of white and whole wheat flour. Credit cards accepted. And all their breads are vegan—yay!

First impression: French-like artisanal baguettes! I bought the “Gurmán baguette” because it looked nearly the same as the baguettes I used to buy in Normandy. (See my earlier review of La Parisse baguette in Barneville.) But how does the baguette from Le Caveau Pekárna stand up to its French counterpart? — Not well. The baguette from Le Caveau is too light in weight, must be full of air. Easily, it’s only about 50% of the weight it should be. But the price isn’t 50%! I feel cheated. Upon arrival at home, I cut it, tasted it. It’s okay, but not as tasty as I would like. I’ll give it 3/5 stars. This is the only French-looking baguette I found in Prague so far. The verdict?—Disappointed! The shop also sells some sweets (quite possibly French), but those didn’t grab my attention. And they also have some French wines.
