Came today at 7:00am and that was the waiting queue. So the main picture is a bit misleading. At 8:15am long term residence was fully booked for the day, so the machine stopped providing tickets for it. Just 15mins after opening! Anyway, the clerks are polite and helpful, but the whole organization around providing tickets, waiting in queues, etc., is horrible at best.

Just a terrible experience. I had to leave twice already after because of unbearable waiting times. Lastly, I got number 27 when i arrived. Yet, they were dealing with number 5 at the moment. There were just 2 people working and it took them about 15-20 min to deal with one person. So, you can do the math.

Infernal place straight from your worst nightmares. If you somehow managed to secure an appointment with them - God help you. If you don't have an appointment but still have some business there - God cannot help you. You can easily spend 12 hours in line and in the end they will just close the doors on you. People are allowed inside in a ridiculous and chaotic order.This place has been unable to handle the load for years now and it's disgusting that Czech government hasn't done anything so far to improve the situation. Such joke of a govermental establishment should not exist in central Europe.P.S.: Some of the employees are genuinely nice and try to help, but considering all the pain you will have to endure there, it really does little to the whole experience.

This is the place where you usually don't go for fun. :) I had no appointment, but it was really fast and smooth. English speaking stuff is there to help.

Overall rating is not deserved. Most likely it is coming from people who didn't have scheduled appointment and were waiting for several hours. If you have an appointment then you are waiting for a few minutes max. The staff is extremely helpful and nice and ready to advise on anything. Compared to their previous location this place is absolutely next level. Spacious, good toilets.

Slowest and the most disturbing place of the country. I was waiting one month for card after I took bio photo.. after one month I came here and they told me they have no my photo cause of problems... So now I need to wait one more month to get it... But my visa is 3 month and one more month is 4th so I need to make new visa as well... The shame of Czech Republic....

I've scheduled my appointment so it may be different from others' experiences, but overall cannot complain about anything.Was waiting for about 5 minutes and it took about 5 more to resolve my issue. Workers were polite and nice.The waiting room looked nice and spacious, there were enough seats for people to sit in.I am fluent in Czech and made my appointment through via call 3 weeks in advance (they are really busy) so this might have played a role but I don't think so.Anyway, I'd recommend everyone to schedule their appointment in advance if they are not in hurry, it can be worse experience otherwise.

A lot of waiting space, information desc, consultation room. Helpful personal. Good reservation system via internet.Only one disadvantage is location, if you have no car it is not easy to get there from the city centre.

the place looks nice and clean. There is also corner for kids and mothers with little children. The staff is nice and helpful. waiting times are still a problem tho. At least there is large enough waiting room.

3 hours well spent, waiting in a line (order system down) for something that really could be done online and remotely. They cannot send you the decision you have to pick it up personally. So after a month i got note to pick it up. And guess what the order system is down.
