I love this restaurant so much. Not only is it an amazing way to experience czech food for vegans, but they also do great things for the community. There’s an option to donate meals for those in need and I think that’s so amazing. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Nice food and friendly staff!I came here because my apartment was very close and the reviews were quite good.We didn’t take any vegan dish, but the food was very tasty. We took some traditional Czech food, but it wasn’t the typical stuff for tourists. Recipes were a bit different from other places and it tasted more “local”. However, I was expected bigger portions.Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.In summary, even if this place is famous for vegan food, I would also recommend it for the rest of the menu.

When in Prague you need to go to Strecha! Vegan Czech cuisine so delicious you won’t believe! Greetings from Poland! The place is very big and still booked in later hours so better to have reservations! In lunch time it’s easier to have a table with no reservations. I loved the cozy atmosphere, plants, beer but let’s get to the food:Vegan fried cheese- 11/10 super delicious! Maybe add a little bit more of greens to make it less heavy? But super delicious!Vegan ribs- 6/10 interesting but not meaty enough for me- I could just taste beetroot, however the cumin bread and red onion marmalade was to die for!Vegan beer goulash 7/10 very good sauce but the dish itself is a little boring just bread and sauce and the soy chunks were not something Extraordinary for me. However this is true to Czech cuisine and worth trying!We loved our visit and highly recommend to everyone!

I can't recommend this place enough, to start with the food which is all vegan is some of the most tasty I've had, hearty casual food but so delicious. Also there is beer.. yes very good beer. On top of this strecha only employ people who have served a prison sentence or people who are homeless (I've uploaded a picture explaining this from the back of the menu). so I'm over the moon to support such a place. If you come to Prague, vegan or not... Please please come here.

The food was good but not outstanding. The interior of the restaurant is very traditional Czech I guess? So nothing special and comfy. Also the service was not really attentive and at the end we had two more drinks on the bill than we consumed, so be aware (no surprise in Prague/Czech, but still want to mark it)!

Food here was so good we came back again. Got to try some traditional food which we really enjoyed. There was some live gypsy music one day when we were there. Cheap meal and drinks.

The food was great. We especially loved the schnitzel and the fries. Not a huge fan of the fried cheese or the dumplings - which were both ok. I wish we'd ordered the BBQ ribs.Server wasn't very attentive, but that might be due to the language barrier (we don't speak Czech), so I'll take the blame for that.Very reasonable prices.

Food is great. Service is great. Just come in, find a table and the staff will come and greet you. Came here twice because it was so good.

We spent our holiday in prague and faced the hard reality of vegetarian food only being fried cheese. Which is nice. Once.We looked all day for an alternative to eat traditional food but vegan and found this amazing place. Go there. Thats all I have to say.

I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a filling and cheap local meal. The garlic soup we had was okay, and the goulash and ribs were nice. It was also nice to escape from the ‘tourist’ kinda vibe in here, as there were mainly local people sitting around. The ambiance was cozy and the place felt welcoming.
