Autocamp OSTENDE Plzeň

Location is great but the camp site has the showers really far from the camper area, with money and it is not always quite.If you are unlucky enough you can be from a quite day to a noisy CZ music till late.

It is the most unfriendly, unhelpful and unhappy staff I have ever seen. Plus is not a safe place. I got my bike stolen and no one care about it. So if for some reason you decide to go, better have your belongings safe and trust no one there.

Quiet, inexpensive and simple campsite with no frills but everything as it should be. Clean toilet block, working showers (20 crown piece required), good sized communal kitchen. Plenty of space for parking and tents and a very relaxing location right beside the lake. Public restaurant/bar onsite but I didnt get a chance to try it. Bus 30 leaves from 100m away from the campsite and leads to Okounova tram stop from where you get Tram 1 to the main square (total journey time 15-20 mins) - tickets bought from machine on the bus or tram. Wouldn't hesistate to stay here again if ever back near Pilsen.

Great camping near lake close to city center. Clean and good service. Enjoyed too much.Highly recommended

Very much noise during our second night, because of a party. No warning OR announcement beforehand. Could not sleep until deep in the night. Also, not very warm welcome. Furthermore not possible to shower in a cabine, only in a common room..It is clean during the day at the toilets, but in the morning it was not so. The price was good and the camp was overall good maintained.A bit much hills for camping with tents..To lees power places.

I stayed at this camping 5 nights in the beginning of July with a sport team participated at a mountain bike race. In the first night two of us were robbed from their room: all of their money was disappeared from their wallets. In the last night, three racing mountain bike was stolen from the front of our wooden houses. All bikes were locked. The locks were not found either. Very strange, that the first crime happened in the first night, when almost all of our money was with us, and the second one happened in the last night, just before leaving. The gate of the camping is closed at night. You can enter only when you know the entering code ... :(

obviously picked the wrong time to arrive, pilsen metal music festival, so space rules went out of the window everyone too close, fire risk not good, although we did actually manage to get out due to the fact the nearest tent left the day before us so we would reverse round the other tents and campers. when we arrived got the worst welcome since we have been travelling europe, young girl, not interested and even a few basic questions were received with a shrug, although as a family run place the waitress in cafe spoke very good english and so did who we thought was the mum who actually sorted a problem we had on arrival with germans wanting to save spaces for ppl who had not even arrived let alone paid. worst part was only being one fresh water tap, so we were told and never found another, using same hose for chemical toilet cassette, when i filled out first ten litre bottle to top up our van the water was brown and had to throw it away, took a long time for the water to run clear. got there in the end. cafe and bar really good aswell and showers/toilets very clean even with what felt like a million ppl with us haha. however all that said we would stay again, just pic another date when nothing was going on. so easy to get into Plzn bus and tram, found that out by walking outside and accosting a few natives who helped us out, no thanks then to the receptionist, hope she is given some training .

Very cheap camping, during our stay there was an Oldtimer competition, very nice overall
