Was under the impression that Avis was a reputable brand name and therefore decided to go with them.First, the positive. We were well received and the pickup was smooth going after a minor hiccup.Before we departed, we took photos of whatever imperfections were on the car, and good thing we did too. The rear bumper was marked on the right and my daughter documented that with a date /time stamped photo.We returned the car without incident and received a rude shock when we arrived home in NZ and checked our credit card bill. They had billed us more than 4 times their original quote.We wrote them without a conclusive outcome. We then obviously disputed this with our bank. Avoid them like the plague.

Very attentive and caring staff - even weekend rush and only one employee at shift, he was answering all questions and when we asked to mark additional damages he did it without any problem. Easy drop iff of the keys for return. The vehicle model was nit exactly what we hoped for but the car was new and clean and reliable. The airlines and travel agencies can take Avis in Prague as role model;)

I would rate it lower if possible.Car broke in the middle of the road on the second day of renting. After calling the service, we had no other option than to wait for the tow truck.The replacement car was suggested to get picked up in the airport (very convenient" when we were miles and miles away from it). After getting to the airport by a train we were shocked to see that the final charges included gas for the full tank

Not the companies finest moment. Although they acknowledged that we had a reservation, they had no car for us and we had to wait until they brought one from the airport. We had to wait for almost an hour, and as their lobby is small and has little seating, that meant standing in the street. Once arrived, the car was fine. As the reservation was made months ahead of time, they should have been prepared. Not very professional. Do not recommend this location.

Great location, and fueling station nearby. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Vehicle condition is excellent!

Very nice service and employees that cares. Good location, very reasonable price if you book online. There is no Mercedes A in the fleet, so if you book it you will get Skoda Rapid, Toyota Auris or brand new Skoda Scala. Scala was so great and fun to drive - silent, fast, DSG, very good quality interior.

Assessment for this office in Prague. Usually good service, high variety of cars and friendly staff. Unfortunately one time they charged me additional services and so adjusted my web reservation without my permission. I figured it out later, on the bill. No feedback on my complaint email.Be careful and double check what is added in the contract you sign.

I can 100% suggest this AVIS-local-office in Prague´s downtown. Good connection from Airport, realy nice people, fluent english and they are also local - so they realy know the city. Just ask!

One of the worst experiences with car rentals so far. Did online reservation, the fee was blocked on my bank account, but i didn't get any reservation confirmation.After numerous tries to get support on phone, i was told there there is no such reservation, probably something went wrong and the amount will be shortly unblocked.Today however, I was charged, but still have no order confirmation. Support doesn't react to emails, doesn't react to Facebook messages and simply drops the calls after 2-3 minutes of hanging on the line.

The car and the welcoming was completely ok but when it comes to the society Avis it's a catastrophy.. it has been 2 months that I sent to avis service the bill of the complete fuel of the car and I am still being charge (a lot) for nothing. Their work is to check that when you give back the car but apparently not... If you have to chose a renting car service don't chose this one
