Ensana Hvězda Health Spa hotel

It was absolutely amazing to be in this resort. The friendly people, the countryside - you can go for so many trips in this area. You can see forests, lakes, ponds, animals. The hotel is very comfortable, the food is absolutely delicious there and you can enjoy all the treatment and pampering... I would love to go there again in spring or summer...

Nice facilities, a lot smaller than I thought, mainly because the salt cave was closed. Staff were nice but felt they could have told us about some parts being closed.

Excellent health spa for relaxation and improving health.but the housekeeping not good in providing the basic things like cotton buds , fulling empty gell bath , regular toils changing , cleaning the coffees cups or remove the used things, etc….the main type of meet is pork ( Schwein ) and distributed in most of the food in-spite that meet is not healthy.

Good to know that the town is not a thermal spring. So the pool in Hvezda was quite cold. Claimed to be 30 C degrees but I don't think it was more than 28. It was standard swimming pool warmth which was very disappointing.The best thing was the Roman Baths. An authentic and nice experience. The pools are considerably warmer which my 2 years old could have enjoyed as well. (The pools in Roman baths are also shown as 29-30 C degrees. There is no way that the Hvezda's pool is 30 degrees if these are so.) Hvezda and Roman Baths are connected internally but you need to find your way through a labyrinth which is 4 hotels long. That includes several elevators, lobbies, corridors, treatment rooms etc. That takes 15-20 minutes with a baby stroller. The journey feels like you are in a Spa Museum which is in fact interesting.%90 percent of the staff can not speak English even sometimes the ones in the reception. They look at you with thrilled eyes like they hear some language coming from another planet lol!Dinner was good, breakfast was ok.Room was nice and big, room service was as it was supposed to be but (there is a big BUT here) they make a lot of noise starting by 7:30-8:00 that includes talking and shouting to each other in the corridor. We let the reception know about this but no changes.Some of the staff was nice but some of the staff (especially the ones in the spa entrances) were not aware that they are giving a service. Their attitude was more like a gatekeeper..

We spent a few days here for the Chopin festival, though most people come for the baths and massages and water source. The rooms are large and clean, but a bit bare. The buffet is okay. The bar is next door in the Imperial. From the Arkada one must walk uphill.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great beds. Fantastic service. Magical place to be during winter ! Indoor parking available.

Where to start with the list of horrible things about this low class place that tries to be something high class, which they definitely are not! The pool area closes at 9pm but they LOCK the door at 8pm, and nowhere is this indicated before you check in and pay. Also, the door serves as a fire exit and it is locked after 8pm, a serious violation which I reported to the police. Everything around the hotel looks shabby and unkept. The decor is tired and old, and the feeling you get is of a low class place. The beds are twins and NO EFFORT is made to keep them together, so if you come with your partner, you will SURELY each be sleeping on one bed each. The fridge ONLY works when the keycard is in the slot, so FORGET about coming back from a long day to a cold drink, unless you leave a card in the slot all day. Never seen this in ANY other hotel. The staff don't treat you with any kind of respect and the pool lady actually PHYSICALLY pushed me when I wandered off into a forbidden area without seeing the sign, instead of asking me politely to leave. I thought she was going to have a heart attack based on her reaction. In short, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Nice hotel with good treatment and food. Really recomend a visit to the hotel and the city!But do not forget to pay the entrance to the salt mine (is not written that it costs something), otherwise you will be reprimanded by the pool guy (this pulled down the score, 3.5).
