Friendly staff but food not worth the money. Mushroom sauce so artificial the texture actually reminded me of slime. The fried cheese supposedly great however...

I loved the Czeck recipes, it was a calm perfect day in the gardens and the restaurant, and the waitress was very nice.And by the way I learned some history, from a specific perspective.

PLEASE READ THISto anyone thinking about having lunch/diner here, dont, you may think im lying or decieving you. since you have been reading all those positive reviews dating 4,6,10,12 or even 16 years ago but i am sad to tell you that it now has different ownerand sadly the food is no longer good - im talking the price is too high for the quality of the food its way more overpriced. The menu might sound good.on my last visit i ordered slow cooked porked belly, Chicken breast Supreme with pea pureé and gritty with mushrooms and truffle oil.when i called the place and placed my order the lady on the pohone didnt sound pleased/in a good mood at all and i think at that point already many people would already change their mind about ordering there.1) the pork belly was dry, appeared burnt, was tough and wasnt seasoned at all, not even salt or anything. It was the first time that i have met chef capable to ruin something that i thought was delicious and impossible to mess up2) Chicken breast....the pureé was chunky, not seasoned, watery.the chicken had no seasoning on it - was juicy though but thats about it3) the gritty - apparently the chef doesnt know the difference between truffle oil and vinegar or thinks they taste the same because the dish was just sour, once again its had no salt/seasoning to it.Now if you have made this far i and think that i just had bad expirience or it was a bad day for them no....the thing is im local i live in Lidice, and i asked anybody, my neighbours, friends etc nobody goes there ever since it was re-opened under the new owner.Before we used to go there on causal lunch, peopel had their weddings/birthday parties there etc.so please heed my words and avoid this place if you know what good food is. Thank you

It is very good restaurant where you can eat perfectly cooked meals. The staff was very kind, helpful and smiling. I can only highly recommend to visit it.
