Compared to the UNESCO Trinity Column, it's a small and sober column. But Olomouc is more than one square, so it really fits the town and the surroundings. Nice and quiet, away from the large flow of tourists, the column shines in peace.

A nice piece of art in a nicely restored town square in a more sedate setting, away from the main flow of traffic and tourists. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars that appeal to many tastes. There is a bit of a student atmosphere to this part of town. Makes a nice part of a walk through this historic town.
