Amazing food. Very good tap beer. Super nice and cozy. Try the goulash with the branboracka oh my god you would eat your fingers after such meal. I will come back more often.

Very nice food, decor and service (including English menus).Ordered a venison goulash with dumplings (that turned out to be more like potato fritters or hash browns) and a special of the day, a venison roulade with cranberries (although the cranberries seemed to have changed to a sage type stuffing) and despite the above (errors in translation?) we definitely enjoyed the food and the house (Austrian) red wine and a (fruity) lager were both more than decent as well. All told about £20, perfectly reasonable and worth visiting.

Very big and juicy steaks. Loved the Vampire pork steak. And the Old Czech Needle was really big and tasty.

They provide typical Czech cuisine here if you are a fan of such eating. The real fireplace makes for a great atmosphere, so if you like the kind of folksy or traditional ambient then you'll love this place. The food is just average, but the prices are lower than most of the places around.

We had dinner there. The food is very good, but they take advantage of the customers: on the menu they say that the schnitzel comes with potatoes and then they charge them separately. Also, we asked for tap water and they charged us €2.50 per bottle. It takes a little too long to bring the food, but it is delicious.

Extremely slow service with the place not even half full. The staff made it seem like we were being an inconvenience to them when we ordered or asked about our missing food (after 40 mins).We ordered some spiced mixed meats and cheese which never came. We got the goulash soup as a starter after specifying that we wanted it with the mains, it was 90% oil.The fries and the chicken schnitzel were good.

We absolutely love the authentic eatery! We went here our first night in Prague and were easily won over by a roasted pork knee. The prices were affordable and the waitress was very friendly!
