First of all I would like to address my complaint to one worker in specific, I went to the office on the 6th of February and expected good attitude and service as usual. I was applying for extension of my permit and gave my papers to the lady. (keep in mind that i called the information line twice beforehand to make sure i had all my documents as well as checked the website with my czech friend and in english too). I believe there was miscommunication or something, but once i greeted her in czech, and continued in english she was extremely rude. (practically speaking to me sarcastically). She told me that i didnt know what i was doing and was very impatient, I apologized since i was confused and thought i genuinely made a mistake. I also mentioned to her that the information was given to me by THEIR information line. She just smirked. I understand some people in the czech republic do not like foreigners however this interaction could have gone way smoother with some patience. She did not seem happy to be in the office in the first place.

I am really suprised people leave bad reviews because my experience here was nothing but great. People are always kind and helpful. Last year when I came here I didn't speak Czech and that was not an issue, lady who handled my visa was super nice. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. This year I spoke some Czech and Mr. Zelinka who issued my bridging visa was really polite and helpful as well as Ms. Lachoutová who accepted my application residence permit extension.

Usually I met really kind and sincere person mvcr in Hladkov, but I was there and I met really cynical person. I know I asked something stupid, but the problem is she did always scoffing to her customer. Not all of customers are expert about document. Don't forget that, one of that kind of person can damage the reputation of others, who is really working hard in there.

I had an amazing experience at this office today. I don't know the name but a blond lady official with short hair and glasses working at counter 11 today was the most sympathetic and lovely official I have met so far in this office. A simple smile instead of sarcastic remarks is always well appreciated and can work wonders sometimes.

How about acting according to eu and also your own law. Registration for eu members should be rather easy but this guys just blocking and blocking things. A Czech insurance is not Required to register to live in the Czech Republic! Start following your own laws.

As someone that had had to deal with many visa application in their life, I have to say I have had the most positive experience at this office evertime I went there. The people are really friendly and it's a calm atmosphere for a process that's usually pretty stressful.

I have visited and applied in this subsidiary of Czech Republic's Ministry of Interior several times now, and was always met with friendly attitude and supportive staff. Most of the times I lacked a document or two, or had a complication which only I was responsible for. And each time the workers, who are under a considerable load of work fatigue, provided me with a helpful advice or were compassionate and considerate. They helped me and answered all my questions to their best ability. In the 5 years I have been visiting them I had no bad experience with the MOI here.

Waiting for my residence permit to be renewed for the 4th month. Last time everything was OK, this time they have questions about almost every document I provided. Some docs already got expired in 4 months, so they ask for new ones. I guess they think I am responsible for the war in Ukraine.I am moving to Vilnius. Good bye, Czechia!

I have been here several times and have always had a wonderful experience. Especially the guys from cabin 8 and cabin 10(Martin) are just awsome. I had missed an appointment to collect my card and went there early the next working day, they were very friendly, spoke English and welcomed me even though there was still 10mins left to open the facility.
