Tavern is located in a lovely place with beautiful views of St. Nicholas church. Prices are friendly, beer on draft is fresh and tasty (highly recommend Kozel!) and the food is good as well.The place is often filled with locals and the atmosphere is slightly rugged, yet charming.

Loved every dish here, especially the sausage and tlačenka! Price is also great! True local pub where sitting together with others is normal :) Waiters were nice to us. Cash only.

Ignore the bad reviews, don’t act like an ignorant tourist and you’ll be treated with respect and great service, we had no issues at all.Cash only - says it right when you walk in, there’s ATMs everywhere, no big deal.Order the hot plate for two (it’s amazing, comes with 2 beers and we could not finish it) and remember this is a Czech BEER PUB so order more Pilsner until you can’t drink anymore not some Coke Zero BS.I will return here every chance I get.

A hole-in-the-wall. Only a few things on the menu. It’s mostly just a pub. Paprika sausage was just 80 crowns. The place is small, so people spilled out onto the sidewalk and sipped their beer. Good local crowd.

We encountered this loving tavern by acidente. There are a lot of people drinking beer and chatting. The food we ordered are traditional and the price is totally acceptable. A really comfy and loving place. This is one of the places where local people would frequent. Highly recommend!

Great value near the castle. Had the dumplings with smoked pork and the fried chicken tenders.
