Great bar. Found it yesterday just doing a walk. Away from the tourist traps but well worth it. Staff really friendly and beer and wine good quality and dirt cheap. 50cl beer only a £1. Gone are the days of 50p pints in the city. Landladys boyfriend always getting caught for going out for a sneaky cigarette but interaction with him is really funny.A must while your here is to have the loaded nachos for £4.40. May sound expensive for a place like this but you get loads and they come with everything. Great when sharing a beer and wine with your wife who also loves this place as well by the way. Just walked 40 mins from our hotel to be here again today

Popocafepetl Café-Bar
We wanted to find a nice little place to pop a few drinks and I gotta say, what we found was a piece of Pragues treasure. This little bar has been just perfect! The atmosphere was very pleasant, drinks were really really good and also fairly priced, and best of all, the hostess was so sweet that I felt like I was at home. Definitely best place in Prague so far. I will come back just to visit this bar again.

An older favorite Prague “haunt” that stills serves a tasty beer at fair prices. One poor waitress struggled to keep up with the guests but she tried her best and we were not disappointed. Dark yet cozy and welcoming atmosphere to escape from the cold winter evenings. Good visit and recommend for anyone passing by.

I recently visited Popocafepetl Café-Bar and had the pleasure of being served by Sandra, who provided exceptional service. She had a positive attitude and made a fantastic Gin Tonic that added to the enjoyment of my evening.However, I must mention that there was another woman present whose vibe wasn't as good. While Sandra was friendly and welcoming, the other woman didn't create the same positive atmosphere.Despite this mixed experience, I still recommend going to Popocafepetl Café-Bar for the great service from Sandra and the cozy atmosphere.

Such a brilliant little bar. We only popped in for 1 drink and stayed for 5. The setting is great, the beer is great and Christina the host is brilliant.

Popocafepetl Café-Bar
Great drinks and i’ve been coming here for some time but lately the music is so loud you can’t even hear each other and the only thing you hear is german songs or hardrock music. It was my favorite place but i unfortunately will not be coming back soon because the atmosphere completely changed.
