During the month I spent in Prague, I ate lunch here every single day it was open. I've eaten at well over a hundred vegan restaurants in more than ten countries, and this is one of my top five spots in the world.The food is healthy and delicious, and if you believe it makes a difference when your lunch is cooked by a happy person with great energy, then this is the place you need to eat. One of the things I like best about Sandokan Vegan Bistro is that it only cooks six hot items a day. This means that everything is super fresh when the restaurant opens at 11:00 AM, and nothing is hastily being thrown together by an overworked and stressed out chef. The place is run in a way that it closes when it sells out all its food in the late afternoon, which means that the food served each morning is never leftovers from yesterday. If I had my way, 80 percent of restaurants would be set up like this. It just makes so much sense.This cooking format also means the entrees are tried-and-true, since they've all been perfected from years of being prepared multiple times every month. All in all, Sandokan Vegan Bistro is flawless, and a must-visit if you are a vegan visiting the Czech Republic. My month in Prague was one of the best and most productive times of my life, in large part because I was being fueled every day by such extraordinarily good meals.

Sandokan Vegan Bistro
This cute little buffer is a great place for a weekday lunch. The food is tasty (I think it changes from day to day - when we were there we could choose from different curries and falafel bowls), prices are reasonable, service is quick and you don't even have to make too many decisions since an option 'a little bit of everything' is available. The owner is very friendly and happy to chat & recommend other nice spots in Prague.

Great place to have veggie diner. Food tasted very good but it was a bit pricy (you pay based on the weight). Menu is said to change on daily base.Place was still being renovated so it looked a bit pale when I visited it.

Really delicious vegan food. Huge variety of vegan food, soups, rice, stews, desserts, drinks in a form of buffet. It’s affordable, too. Very flavourful meals. Best plant based restaurant with a cute seating, clean food and fantastic meals. a must try while in Prague with kind owner and his stuff.

Food was delicious, the dips were so good! They weigh the plates and you pay by wheight which is very nice :) i missed explanations of each food next to the containers but that‘s the only con! Also the owner was super super nice and the music as well! Will come back here next time!!

Their food blew my mind. I ordered the bigger of the two trays and every single dish I sampled was as good as it can possibly get. I’m only in Prague for a few days but if I lived here I would eat in Sandokan every day.

A small, sympathetic place with only few seatings indoors. The food is lovely, very spicy and the portions are big. This place is worth a visit!

Sandokan Vegan Bistro
The food was delicious.Prices were very good.The staff were friendly and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. Speaking English was an added bonus for us.We enjoyed eating there so much we returned the next day.It is a bistro and the music was just at the right volume to listen to and still able to talk amongst ourselves (three adults).
