Unique atmosphere in former apartment, friendly service and extensive menu. Sadly not many vegan options! However, the fruit cocktails were tasty (Multifresh and Kameňák)

Definitely the best cafe in Ostrava in my opinion. Amazingly warm atmosphere, kind and nice staff, reasonable prices and good coffee. Besides, they have an English menu for non-czech speakers. I recommend “Cafe u Lait”.

Cafe Daniel is a pretty, cosy little cafe hidden behind an unassuming door and up a couple of flights of stairs. It's a beautiful place to sit, with friends or alone, and the staff are friendly. Not all can speak English, but there are English language menus and they'll do their best. The coffee's not great, honestly — you go for the antique couches and eclectic decorations, not the excellent brew, but it's certainly worth the trouble of finding. (Especially if you're not a coffee drinker!)

This is one of the best coffee places you can find in Ostrava. Their English menu needs an update but the waitress will help you.
