Arkada Hotel Praha

Did not get to stay in this hotel, because the problem with booking.com, I've been treated as a no show and charged fully. The manager, his name pronounced like Rafael, was extremely rude and unprofessional, When I was trying to explain things to him in a polite way, all I got was rude words back, in the end he even hung up on me. Regardless how good the hotel is, with this kind of manager, I'm very happy that I did not stay there, even though I lost the money but it's better not have to face those rude people in a different country. Thank God!

This hotel basically does not have air conditioning. Only a few rooms with balconies have AC. If you go in the summer, it can be quite cool, or some days can be into the 90s! That is what happened during my stay. My local friends could not believe that this was a 4 star hotel. It really is 2.5 stars. The cleaning person would only give me one towel for my room! It is in a quiet neighborhood. And it is not expensive. I just think that it is very over rated.

Great location makes this hotel a perfect stay for exploring Prague!We stayed two nights in the attic apartment and were quite satisfied. The room was nice, clean, modern and spacious with air conditioning. I was happy the small AC unit was able to keep the room cool even though it was 30+ degrees outside. We only had one bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, with a bathtub that did not have any shower curtain so water was splashed everywhere after showering.The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, on a quiet street, only several minutes away from Wenceslas Square and tram/metro stops. It has a nice Mediterranean vibe and there are plenty of bistros/cafes in its proximity.We only interacted with the reception staff, as lovely they were to us, they were also very slow. It took us 15 minutes to do the check-in procedure which is simply too long in the digital age.Visited in August 2022.

Very nice and esthetic place. The vibe is great but the breakfast could use an improvement yet it wasn't a problem to me since the location of this hotel is amazing. Right in between of everything.

We liked our stay in hotel.The reception guys were very friendly and made us early check in after a long flight. We were very happy.Location is great. I recommend.

The mattresses are old and used up. Very uncomfortable. I could feel the springs on my back all night. If I slept on my side, I needed to sleep in between the rows of springs for it to not dig into my ribs. Yes it was this bad. The breakfast was not good, and the food had flies all over it.

Great location, plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby and the train station is a 15 minute walk. Clean and spacious room. 24/7 reception. Great for a good price.

Nice location, room was clean with fridge and air conditioning. Pillows could be improved, and a glass added in the bathtub to prevent water projection.A fridge to keep water, juice and milk fresh would be nice in the breakfast ares. Breakfast was ok, not many options though.We enjoyed our stay.
