I stayed in this hotel for almost a week. It is located right across the main railway station in Hradec Kralove, and very near main bus station. The outside of the hotel does not look very promising, but the inside is okay. The rooms were fine and clean when we arrived. There was a hair drier, a soap and shampoo+shower gel in the bathroom. There is a Tv and a fridge in every room. Not all rooms have balcony, but even if they do, you cannot use it because of the pidgeons, who nested there. But, regardles, the view from the rooms is amazing.The food in the hotel is very tasty, and it is served as a buffet. For lunch and dinner you can choose between two main dishes.The stuff is very polite and helpful.

Sad, very sad. Every single review about this hotel is absolute truth. Rooms are awful, we lived in the 4th floor and there weren't any light at the hallway. We had to use our phones flashlights. There were someones hair all over the floor in the shower and sink. No hairdryer, no ac. Windows are so old that it's unsafe to open them, so there's impossible to catch up a fresh air. Rooms are dated, dusty, towels were dirty as well as blankets. At the check in receptionist took our passports as he said to check us in" and told that we can come to pick them in 3 hours

Hotel location is good, rooms need serious renovation. Tv remote not working. But room was realy clean.The breakfast selection is small but tasty. The only major complaint is the bottled juices, which are so much diluted that it's practically water with a taste

The female staff who checked us in on arrival was absolutely lovely & the best thing about the hotel. The hotel is not somewhere I’d like to stay again. It’s very out of date and has an eerie feel to the rooms. Yep! I moved from one room to another, 2nd room much nicer but still a no for me. It just didn’t feel clean either.

Looks like hotel has not been renovated since it was build. Windows, bathrooms nothing. No water pressure in shower. Even though check out is at 10am a cleaning lady stormed into my room without a knock yelling at her colleague: They're still here!" then closed the door and left. Terrible.But at least there was a very helpful and kind receptionist in the lobby.Anyway this hotel? Nevermore. Thanks."

Very charming soviet-feeling old hotel.Clean and reasonably comfortable as long as it’s not too hot (there is no AC) and you don’t mind the world’s hardest mattress! It has great views of the city and is a wonderful example of old school brutalist gigantism. Restaurant is quite good and definitely one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I’ve ever had! Chef’s kiss to whoever does the eggs, it’s not easy to make scrambled eggs by the hundred! Not rubbery at all, actually very delicious! I hear it will become a Clarion soon, so I am glad I got to stay here it it’s old-school glory. The staff is also very nice!

This hotel is terrible, it is old, cold and food is not what pictures tells.Rooms are old and in winter time very cold.Stayed 3 nights and regret every night.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location to the train station, which is directly as outside. The rest of it can only be described as the worst hotel in the area. Rooms are small and dated and in dire need of some urgent TLC. The reception looks like something out of the 70s. Hallways are dark and deary. There is a musty damp smell that permeates through the building. The elevators look like something out of a horror theme park.

After Rock for People 2023 we needed to wait for 4+ hours till the first train (4am) to Prague.Security at train station forced us to leave “because it closing” at 2am. It was cold outside so we texted to get some warm place and ended up at hotels lobby.The guy who worked at night shift was amazingly friendly. Had no questions and we had a hot tea and a nap in chairs while waited for the train.Thanks to this guy we not ended up somewhere frozen. So thank you a lot! And that’s why absolutely 5 stars to the hotel.
