Ate dinner here the other night with family, the food was just terrible. I had roasted duck with potato dumplings and red cabbage which was completely tasteless. Service was very slow (about a half hour to get drinks) but otherwise OK. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food portions (although tasteless, plain, and overpriced) were big. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I feel sorry for people who visit Czech Republic for the first time and visit this place, because they must think that Czech food is just awful.

We had a horrible experience eating lunch there, my sister ordered fish - flounder - but they did not tell us that fish will be almost 1 kilogram! The prize in the menu was for 100 gram but when they brought us a fish it was a huge meal with the cost more than 70 euro for one fish! They should tell us ahead of time, before they start cooking, that fish weights such and such and it will cost you that much, they did not care that it was way too big for one person and too expensive also, rude and mean place.

Never ever!!!! Overpriced low quality food! We have pizza Napoletana :) what a joke!!! We asked what cheese they used, they told us mozarella, but on the pizza was finally some cheap melted cheese :) Minestrone soup was water coored by vegeta (google ot)! If you like good and quality food, better avoid this place!!

Do Not Enter this restaurant Ever!!! Pls. don’t do same mistake we just did today. We had the Meat broth for child - was cloudy with no taste, almost no noodles and from the frozen vegetable. I chose fish - grilled Zander with spinach and potatoes. Only eatable thing was 1 potato I got on plate. Spinach was cooked to mud… cooked from the frozen spinach, probably with no garlic and it tasted really disgusting like a cooled grass and the fish… I have no words… it was not grilled, it was coated in flour with skin included and fried, it has no taste, it was not salty, not spicy… anything… only disgusting. And the last meal was Veal steak in a potato casserole… but instead that we got some kind of 3 pieces of fried steaks, where was pounded meat to 3mm slices and the breadcrumbs wrapper was the same thickness and 2 pieces of prefabricated potato pancakes. Only french fries with tartar sauce and ketchup was something what they didn't mess up. So… 1* is too much!

If I could give zero stars, I would do so. I strongly advise not to go there. This place although called Czech Yard" is owned and operated by Russian gang/mafia and they are actively destroying reputation of Czechs and Czech hospitality. Badly cooked meals

Do not go there! 1 star is actually too much for this terrible place.In spite of the name Česky dvůr, the staff can’t speak Czech properly, that’s why the problems started while we were ordering. We wanted to get some grilled veggies and ordered additionally something like potatoes or rice. First, we got “no” as a reply. Only after 5 minutes negotiation we were offered French fries. I gotta point to the fact that staff was absolutely not interested in customers and you could hear that passive-aggressive intonation in the voice, like “order, eat, pay and go away, don’t bother us”.Beer was warm and disgusting. “Grilled veggies” weren’t grilled in fact, they were fried on the pan with big amount of stinky oil and were burnt on one side; by the way, they were absolutely tasteless even though they served it with tatarská omáčka (which AGAIN wasn’t actual sauce - just some liquid yoghurt mixed with herbs), but in menu it was written that veggies go with cheese sauce. Risotto with veggies was just average, tea and French fries as well, nothing special. And everything is overpriced according to the quality. Which kind of disrespect these people gotta have to THEMSELVES first of all to run business this way?Just avoid this place.

On our little trip to Marianské lázně we were looking for some good restaurant to have lunch in. After a while we decided to order here. Few moments later a waiter approched us and asked us about drinks. We didnt want any so he left and started calling with someone. About 5 minutes later came another waiter asked us the same thing. The communication among the staff was really bad. We waited about 10 minutes and noone came so we decided to leave. Even though this is czech restaurant the staff definitely wasnt speaking czech very well :(( After 45 minutes when we already ate somewhere else and passed the restaurant once again the waiter was still calling. When i look at the reviews i see that we had made good choice when we left. Unprofessional.

Fast food type restaurant where only pizza can be considered decent. Soup comes in tiny portions and looks nothing like pictures on the menu. Card terminal suddenly stopped working and we had to go and withdraw cash to pay the bill.

I'd been going there for lunch over the past few days and it has been a generally good experience but today was very unpleasant. The waitress was a snotty, unwelcoming battle-axe. She struts pompously around the place and attends to customers impatiently like as though they were a bothersome bunch. I couldn't stand her attitude and left without waiting for my lunch to come. The witch had the gall to insist on payment for food that I didn't eat. Stay away from the place, there are so many better restaurants around. Better food, cheaper, and friendlier. She looks like Czech but she can't be Czech, all the Czechs that I have met from Prague to Marienbad were wonderfully helpful, courteous, and friendly.

Such a horrible restaurant, expensive tasteless pizza - dry and without any ingredients, our olive pizza had only 4 olives. Two stars only for smiling service.Not recommended!
