Great hotel, I loved the decorations and the staff. Program in the pub was a bit too long. Many people, including me, couldn't handle all 3 hours and left early. I'd rather have last hour for some medieval dancing party :)One disadvantage is the area near lake stinks a lot. Not sure what was the smell, but it wasn't pleasant to sit next to it.

Near Prague, in the heart of the forest, one can (re)live the Dark Age, în this one to one detailed building of Detenice.The rooms are carefully designed to create the medieval years, the food is tasty, the staff speak English, too.You can visit the castle nearby and taste the local beer.

I found this hotel in Slevomat. The hotel decoration, the appearance of the staff and the rooms give you the mediaeval time feeling. If it's a half-board stay you can also enjoy the evening show in the restaurant next to the hotel. Breakfast is served in a creepy kitchen :) there's a parking place behind the hotel. In the rooms, you can find soap, towels and shower gel. Highly recommended.

Awesome place, historical pub and hotel takes you back to medieval. Perfect performance of actors/personnel. Taste their sour kraut soup!

We spent one night in this hotel, we certainly could not handle more:- there was fierce heat in the room and there is impossible to regulate the heating. By impossible I don't mean that the regulator was broken, but that the regulator simply doesn't exist. The only opportunity is to open a small window in the room, which is not applicable if there is a big chill outside. In the morning I was like dried cod (there are no glasses for drinking or cleaning teeth available).- from about midnight until cca three in the morning the speaker in your room starts very loud, wannabe scary sounds (as a creaking door, vampire laugh etc). You can't turn the speaker off or regulate its loudness, it will wake you up every hour.- the floor is wooden and in the night there is a lot of noise through the hotel as the people walking to their rooms.- the shower is firmly embedded in the ceiling, you cannot operate it any way you need.- coffee for breakfast you have to cook yourself.

Cool and charming place. Château and beer factory visit may improve a little bit more, but plenty of shows and funny performances. Decorations and atmosphere top! Just two little things, the toilet could be more comfortable and please change the coffee for the breakfast :) otherwise we loved the experience, great job and thanks to Panenka Filomena!!

The stay was from Saturday, May 13, 2023, to Sunday, May 14, 2023 (one night) and the rate was $130 w/ taxes through the hotel's website, and the room reserved was Standard Medieval Room (most basic room).The room rate also included a lavish medieval (their words, not mine) breakfast. Complimentary parking was also available.For the record, my room number was 3.The hotel is in the rural part of the Czech Republic, about an hour from Prague, and a car would be necessary to get there. Although it was built in 2009, it was made to appear medieval by shunning the use of lightbulbs, opting for candles instead for that authentic experience. The hotel has its own medieval" restaurant and pub as well.The size of the room was large and the bed was on the frumpy side

Very stylish.The only thing, the doors to the bathroom makes it kind of public space, so I recommend to spend time here with someone very close to make it less awkward. Or drink.
