We tried going here last year on our annual cycle trip from Prague but there were no tables available. We were so happy to get a table this year and then the service and food were very disappointing. I will not go here again and would recommend the restaurant before this one or in Karlštejn.

If you want to eat something like a steak, you will be waiting for more than 45 minutes. And then they will mix up your order.. there were no any sharp knifes at a table

The food was amazing and tasty. I had first course (capresa) and main course (chiken) and desert. All was tasty and fresh. The Illy coffee was an additional nice touch.The service was friendly and with a smile.The place outside is really cozy and nice and a music was good too. Finally, when the check came I found out I can only pay cash and I only had my credit card. They were super nice, patient and tried to help in any way possible.Certainly recommended and we will come again.BTW, they have a pension as well.

A typical Czech restaurant is located in a village near Karštejn. We stopped here based on reviews and not regret it. We were lucky to the place and so they served us without a reservation. The selection was from both the daily menu and the grill menu. The service was brisk and we did not wait long to order. Lunch was perfect, from the menu a little bit better than from the grill. If you plan a trip to Karlštejn definitely make a reservation for a meal here.

This could be one of the best restaurant experiences in all of Středočeský. Emphasis on 'could' and the frustrating part is that all of the fixes 'could' be done in a day!The place is beautiful. Even the parking area is nicely paved and the patio is well done. Unfortunately when we were there the radio was on full blast with ads which already detracted from the experience. I find this establishment to have the atmosphere of a high end rural gastropub, but the musical choices didn't correspond to that.On that topic, once you enter inside you find a beautifully decorated pub with two walls of classic Czech decor.. and one with kitschy pseudo-American biker tchotchkes! It again makes no sense in the place given the rest of the atmosphere.They could take cards, or be more apologetic about it as others have mentioned.The cuisine could be a little fancier for the price and surroundings but it was extremely good anyways. Truffle oil made the salad supreme and every other dish was excellent.The menu does have everything in English contrary to other reviews and the server did speak English and was quite amicable.So from my humble view:1. Take cards2. Lose the motorcycle/Route 66 stuff3. Make a music playlist that fits the place, or just don't put any music on!Even if none of those changes happened, I would recommend this place. But if they did I would recommend it very highly.

We came to the restaurant and were told that the food would take longer to order, because they have 25 more dishes ahead. After probably 5 minutes a guy came and told us, that we won't be able to order any food, because they have too many people ordering. As we were leaving, the restaurant was already closed, even tho they close later.

CASH ONLY in the 21st century. There are just two options. 1st, they are absolute amateurs that they can not operate with terminals or 2nd, they cheat on taxes. In such a beautiful place, I don't believe it is the 1st option. Service is nice though

Restaurant u Máni v Třebáni
A lovely rustic restaurant in beautiful surroundings, located not far from Karlstejn castle. In warmer weather you can sit outside among an explosion of flowers and enjoy excellent food -- we've never had anything that was not delicious in this establishment. The staff are kind and friendly. All in all it's a pleasant experience to drive out from Praguefor a half day and have lunch there. We recommend it highly.
