Hotel Garni na kolejích VŠB -TUO

The beds are comfortable , a lot of lockers to keep our stuff and the service is really good .

A bit of a standard hotel and in the same way not. I discovered that this is a student mansion" with some floors dedicated to be hotel rooms. Nothing special but nothing wrong."

This room was very affordable and in proximity to VSB-TUO. I was surprised breakfast was also included in the amount paid. Breakfast was Great.

Nice staff here who go above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. The rooms are clean and the place is relatively quiet. Not very far from the main action in Poruba.If you like quiet and fairly boring atmosphere then this place would be okay.

Very nice place to stay.Hovewer connecting to internet for students is just unnecessary complex and difficult, not talking about cable connection and necessity to change, like a milion settings in your computer. Also it is hard to get any help with this from personal of the Hotel.

Lived in the A building and it was bad and old. Not a proper bed, no cleaning for 10 days in bedroom. Old bathroom but you can take a shower and go to toilet and they clean it every day. Towels they changed if you leaved them on the floor.Location great for students of course, otherwise it's a 10 min walk to the tram and center of Poruba. 2 student pubs just 100m from entrance where Vrtule is the nicest and best one.PS. If i lived in the other building, red, I would rate it as a good 3 stars. Because it had better beds and newer bathrooms.

Wifi only available when asked at the reception. Tip for hotel give the connection when guest checking in.

Hello everyone!I’d like to all let you know the hotel is ok, BUT the “lady” at the reception was probably the meanest person to ever deal with, she started screaming on me for no good reason! I was treated like a peace of ....! Never have I ever expected such BAD BAD treatment by someone who is supposed to greet you!!! I do not recommend because of the lady, all I did was that I used a wrong entry, and she was right upset, everybody was looking at her like she was nuts in the hallway. Very poor service by the receptionist!

It's OK. Wouldn't really call it a 3-star hotel, more like 2. Ultra-basic and blatantly a converted hospital or dormitory with absolutely minimal effort to make it look like a hotel. It's in the heart of studentsville so it's noisy outside at all hours and you'll have to keep your window shut. My shower (bathrooms are shared) wall attachment refused to maintain the shower head at a sensible angle.On the other hand everything was spotlessly clean, the room has a TV, cupboard, desk, and reasonably comfortable bed and the price is sensible. Breakfast was OK. For a night or two it's totally fine. And let's face it, if you're thinking of staying here then you're probably here for a working visit, so you probably won't be here any longer than that.
