Residence U Černého Orla

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I really don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I booked this hotel a few months ahead of time and immediately added my card information. I sent a message this morning (the date of our arrival) in regards to our late arrival code and they said the payment didn’t go through on the final due date so they had to cancel our booking. They said there was nothing they could do because they were fully booked. I never received any information about this and the booking was and is still listed as active and said that the room was paid for. It’s a good thing I sent a message because otherwise we would’ve arrived in the cold in -10 c weather with no hotel for the night. Luckily we were able to find another hotel and they were so helpful.

The best place to fall in love with Prague! Located just next to Charles Bridge. Awesome authentic rooms with awesome comfortable beds, super friendly and nice hosts, best for this money!

We stayed for a long weekend at the Cerneho Orla Hotel. Due to the covid pandemic, our stay needed to be postponed for two years but it was worth waiting. The rooms are old but beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped, and the staff was nice. The breakfast is included which is a big advantage in the quite costly city center of Prague. All in all, a lovely stay with a big recommendation. We would come again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and incredibly quiet - especially given the central, busy location. The breakfast was excellent. The shower cabin was very spacious. The decour was consistent with its historic location and very quaint.There was no lift, but this is due to the historic nature of the building. There was no bidet in the bathroom. It was quite pricey.

It is a perfect place to stay in Prague! A very nice, clean hotel made in historical style placed right next to the Karlův most. It gives you an unforgettable atmosphere of an ancient town.Stuff is very friendly and ready to help. After our booking we messaged to the hotel to give us a specific room if possible. At first, they informed us that unfortunately the only room had left is the actual we didn't want. But a week before our vacation the hotel texted us that they've changed our room for another one, and it was perfect!The room is very cozy, has high ceilings and old-fashioned furniture. The bed is wonderful - very comfortable, wide and cozy.The hotel provides the guests with tasty a variable breakfast.I definitely recommend this place if you want to have a deep experience of a historical and ancient town of Prague.

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Prag in March 2023 and we absolutely loved it!Pros:- perfect location directly at the Charles bridge- very beautiful and cute room and interrior- very clean bathroom- easy late check in possible (reception in closed after 16 o'clock) if you write an email to the hotel- everything was uncomplicated in a friendly environmentCons (very minor):- breakfast was solid, but nothing to special- room was not cleaned during our visit (but we also did not leave the sign which explicitly stated, that this room should be cleaned, as it was not necessary for us)

Definitely NOT a pet/dog friendly hotel. Be careful when you do your reservation as a lot of sites are stating otherwise. We booked a room and were informed after that they won't accept us

Breakfast is top notch, and the location is perfect. the room was very nice, and overall either met or exceeded our expectations.

Excellent hotel in Prague’s little town, just a few steps away from Charles Bridge. The property is more than 600 years old and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the room in the attic, which is absolutely outstanding, fully furnished and with a kitchen, a great living room and a balcony looking over the bridge. Great place to stay. Just make sure you’re able to handle your luggage - it’s 80 steps to the attic room (99 if you count from the breakfast room in the basement).
