Jamel´s Barber shop

Not queer-friendly. I asked if I could get a male haircut and was turned away even though he agreed it would be the same as what he does for his male customers. I am non-binary with short hair.

I'm French so I like to complain. But there's nothing to complain about after visiting Jamel's Barbershop. Because it was absolutely great.I came, without an appointment, at 6pm. We couldn't find a date and time that worked for both of us so he made the time for me, about half an hour later. I sat down for a bit while he was making a young boy the classiest kid in his class, before giving him some chocolate with a smile.Then came my turn (again, late, last minute, without an appointment), and there was work to be done. I had about a year worth of hair growth to get rid of, and Jamel started taking care of it. Since I don't speak Czech, we talked in English, then in French, sometimes switching during both. We talked about things and others, like one does during a haircut, and Jamel was very nice, professional, and attentive to detail. Even if the shop was technically closed for 15 minutes, he still made sure everything was perfect, not rushing a thing.Once he was done, the messy forest on my head was gone, the edges of my beard were perfectly trimmed, and I smelled like those people in those Gilette commercials on TV probably smell.Overall, very happy with the service and with the owner. Prices are very reasonable, which made a tip even more deserved. I don't know if I'll stay another year without a haircut, but I'll definitely be coming back.

Been to Jamel's for the first time and I'm very happy I've found this man's place because he did a great job! He is meticulous and pays a lot of attention to details, and he speaks good English too :)

I highly recommend for every man that wants to be pampered and want his hair and/or beard look good. Very professional service and customer attitude. You won't regret putting your hair in Jamel's hands. Only thing missing is glass of whisky or rum, but we can't have everything.

I've been to a bunch of barber shops in Prague and so far this one is the best by far. Excellent haircut and customer service by Ben! Do yourself a favor and get a haircut at Jamel's.

I enjoyed not only the work by Jamel, but also his company. Greet by a drink, spend a great time, got a great haircut!

The greatest Men's barber in the city of Prague. I'm really happy with my new looks. I recommand the place to everyone!
