nice place we walked past on the way to petrin tower. read some reviews and decided to head inside.it is quite dark inside but you get used to it after a while, we sat on the right side where the tables are a little less crammed together.staff are friendly and food was served quickly. the portions are huge, so definitely worth the price.the bread dumplings with the goulash are so soft and perfect for mopping up all the gravy. the meat is also soft and falls apart when you stab it with the fork.the pork knuckle also fell off the bone. the taste was ok, although we did think the bread that came with it was quite hard. the kitchen also did not have any butter for the bread. the skin on the pork knuckle is also soft and not crispy, something to bare in mind if you are after a crispy exteriorthe onion soup was also tastyoverall, the food was flavourful and worth the price but none of it was very hot, it was more warm, so by the time you were halfway through your meal, it was likely room temp already.

Be care when you pay. Despite the fact that I said 3 times that I did not leave a tip, they insisted. I feel cheated. Tipping is not mandatory in the European Union. They take advantage of the naivety of tourists.

Good food, nice waiters just 2 girls but managing a lot of people well. I tried the pork knuckle it was a lot better than I was imagining. The onion soup was wonderful as well. Little more expensive than a grab and go snack but worth money. Nice patio seats too on street for some sun.

We enjoyed our visit to Nicolas bar. The food is delicious! Excellent wine and beer too. Domenic is very friendly and has a lovely smile. We love to come back sometime. High recommend Nicolas bar.

The place is quite nice even tho is a bit dark and the tables are very close to one another that there isn’t enough space to move. I had to go to the restroom and I had to ask the girl behind me to move otherwise I couldn’t get out of my spot. But the food is pretty good and also the price is normal. Very good the gulasch with bread and the onion soup!! I suggest to reorganize the spaces for the tables.. :)

I’ve been visiting this place many times and ordering pizza from there via Bolt Food, and each time it’s perfect! The quality of food & beverages is always excellent. In addition, the level and speed of service are fantastic.The personnel is energetic and polite, especially our favorite waitress Vanessa, who provides exceptional service. It’s one of the best service teams in Prague. It’s amazing how they work! You can expect the beer within 1-2 minutes and food within 10-15 minutes, even when the restaurant is full.Once I saw how two gentlemen came in, ordered the beer, and once they took their outerwear off and took a seat, they already had a beer on their table. It’s impressive teamwork of bartenders and waiters.
