We have been here twice - both times service personnel have made the difference by going out of their way to make the meal more enjoyable. Food is excellent BUT last time they were out of beef; sad because the first time the steaks were excellent.

Wow!? Great food! Bigger servings! For an unbelievable price! Beware! Even huge for good eaters! If you are just passing by! Great place to stay! Very cosy and historical atmosphere with great paintings from the 18th century inside the resto! Very very much recommended!

Stumbled across this place a while ago. It is located in a quiet village in the Bohemian Forest. It is placed on bank of the village pond. The restaurant takes good advantage of this fact by having a large number of tables on a generous bright windowed wall, overlooking the pond, where you can watch the ducks cavorting.The food is classic Bohemian and very tasty. I really like to come here with my family. They also have some play materials for pre-teen kids, like a black board and crayons. That keeps the kids busy and the stay relaxing for the parents.The prices are very fair.I highly recommend this place.
