Hotel Barceló Brno Palace
Excellent location, close to the city center. The staff is very qualified, kind and helpful.The local tram went under our room, but thanks to the good windows, nothing could be heard from it. The room is spacious and comfortable.The parking service is a bit expensive. I was too lazy to drive 2 minutes to the really close parking garage.I will stay here again next time in Brno.

Was good, but didn’t feel like a 5 star. Rooms were nice, location was good and decor was nice. No complimentary water, £34 for over night parking etc

Hotel Barceló Brno Palace
Excellent hotel. Staff all very professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Location is great within walking distance of all the city sites. Lovely touch with chocolates left in the room as it was my husbands birthday.

Hotel Barceló Brno Palace
Right in Brno centre with everything you need within walking distance. Came for a 3-day stay and would definitely stay here again in the future. Service is professional and friendly. Breakfast is good. Primary clientele at the time of year I stayed seemed to be groups of business people, by that read self-important pompous middle aged men but sure they gotta get their Thai massage and loudly talk shop over breakfast somewhere right.

Great location, amazing food. Night staff seemed a bit confused and didn’t give us much information when we arrived, but it could have been because we got there late. Overall a great experience and a nice stay

Hotel Barceló Brno Palace
The hotel impresses with its beautiful architecture and excellent service. The variety and quality of the breakfast is commendable, with the exception of the coffee, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. The rooms were stylishly designed and equipped with pleasant amenities such as a whirlpool bath and a Nespresso coffee machine, although the TV could have been larger.Although marketed as a 5-star establishment, it is more like a solid 4-star hotel. A missed opportunity is the underutilized atrium, which could serve as a fantastic bar location.All in all, a generally enjoyable stay with room for minor improvements.

To describe Hotel Barcelo Brno Palace as a 5 star hotel is a definite push and I feel sorry for other 5 star hotels who jump through hoops to achieve their rating while Hotel Barcelo Brno Palace seems to have ungainly stumbled and fallen to their rating. I feel a low 4 star is more appropriate.The hotel is well situated in Brno, with everything in easy walking distance and the building itself is beautiful. Our room was of decent size and the bed was comfortable. However, the furniture was worn and cheap. In the bathroom, the water pressure was poor and the water temperature was warm at best.The buffet breakfast was disappointing and it seemed to focus more on quantity than quality. We typically went to a cafe nearby instead to get good quality coffee in the morning.If the official star rating of this hotel was more appropriate for what they provide, it's likely this review would be more positive but this is certainly not a 5-star hotel.

The main feature for me at a hotel is sleeping. Due to the loud neighbourhood (nightclub, big street) in combination with light sleep you won't be able to find enough sleep.The service was okay, but you would definitely expect more form a five star hotel.I personally can't recommend a stay there.

Hotel Barceló Brno Palace
Truly nicely located in walking distance of all sorts of things in Brno, from the main station to Spielberg castle, from the bars and restaurants to the shops of downtown. Also, as everywhere in the city, the tram runs right by it, so getting anywhere is super easy (technology park being just along the tram line 12).The building is beautiful with a huge inner courtyard and large, comfortable rooms. The only possible downside I see is that the central location can make weekend nights a bit more noisy than some may want and thus having a window open at night may not be an option.

Going to stay somewhere else next time. The bed pillows were so bad I found it hard to sleep. Make sure you don't get a room that is over at the disco - they keep going until 4:00 am! The hotel doesn't have washcloths. The light in the bathroom is so dim it was hard to shave in the morning. My room was very warm and even though I set the thermostat to 17°, I couldn't get it to cool off. They have a very small bar that closes early.Update: I did call down and ask for two feather pillows. They told me they only had one remaining for the entire hotel.
