I love the place. The staff are incredibly nice, attentive, professional, give you great menu explanation and recommend the best wine pairing option. The interior itself is very cozy and minimalistic with poppy seeds theme (as I learnt that the name Vallmo means poppy in Swedish). All the menu options are so enticing and I want to go back here again to try all of them. I went for the lamb neck which was super tender with a great portion of buttery sauce and poppy gnocchi. The taste was well balanced and playful with all the little details such as the sheep cheese flavor along with the wild garlic. The poppy seed custard dessert with crunchy cinnamon flakes, the gingerbread dessert and flatwhite coffee were a cherry on a top of this great gourmet experience. The location is great as it is close to the river bank. Worth visiting!

Wow, how did I not know about this spot before?!?Beautiful spot, restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, light and airy furnishing, quiet and romantic setting.The staff is fantastic and attentive - explain every detail of each plate, allow and facilitate for adjustments in meals. They were making us feel very special and overall comfortable. Super!And the food. Oh, the food. Perfectly balanced, new and unexpected, playful and very tasty. We had asparagus with hollandaise as start, aged chicken for main (Oh-My-Gooood!!!), And rhubarb desert. Fantastic, there is nothing I can complain about.Certainly try on your own, you won't regret. I'm surely coming back soon!

Perfect - everything we want in a restaurant. We chose it for our 9th wedding anniversary on our trip to Prague and we not disappointed at all. The food, service and decor were all spot on. A delightful experience, professional but personalised. Would recommend it whole heartedly. This place just surely be due a Michelin recommendation.Maybe some wine pairings for the menu would be the only suggestion to feed back.

Not the best option for a Saturday night. I guess coming for the lunch’s menu it changes the thing.They have everything to make it a great experience: creativity, very well presentation, savory ingredients, great touch and a correct service. But portions are far from getting you satisfied, they’re in general pretty small.I mean I don’t need to be incredibly full but after have payed close to 50€/pax at least you should leave the restaurant with the feeling that you have tried something extraordinary or more plates than we actually did.At the end it’s just an opinion and I wanted to express that to the waiter when he asked if everything went alright. Very correctly he said that the point it’s to try one starter, one main and one dessert and get full with that. And here’s the point of this review: for example, if you try the croquette, the duck breast and whichever of the desserts you’re far from getting full and you have already paid 40€.I wish you the best!

Food experience to the top.Excellent high class service.Would definitely recommend to go here.They have a good selection of different dishes with personal touches and special ingredients.Thank you for making this night, the best night of our vacation .

Brilliant restaurant…!Cons: -No Air Conditioning, for the price paid on a peak summer day, it’s expected the restaurant should have the same.Portion sizes can be very small, took the 2 pax tasting menu 6 courses, but still went on a pizza couple of hours later.Pros: -Amazing atmosphere.Wonderful staff, smiling, welcoming, every detail of the dish is explained clearly.Quality of food 5/5Make sure to reserve a table beforehandRecommended…!

I had dinner by myself while traveling and had an amazing dining experience at Vallmo. The staff were incredible in explaining the dishes and the places they sourced the ingredients from around Czech Republic. The presentation of the dishes was absolutely beautiful and the taste was incredible. Easily one of the best dining experiences I ever had. It's pretty expensive, but honestly a great value considering how much you would pay in other European capital cities for fine dining of this caliber.

Hidden gem!Unique creative food, set course menu, friendly welcoming staff, great wine card. 5 out of 5!!!We had a 4 course menu, I couldnt take desert because of sugar. The chef replaced it with cheese platter. All ingredients are local ❤️
