There is no need to advertise this castle. It's probably the most beautiful chateau in the Czech Republic. I would like to mention a tour of the kitchen - as I am always interested in daily life of such grand venues. The kitchen is impressive with modern equipment of the beginning of the 20th century. Unfortunately, the tour is in Czech only, and you can enter only with the tour. They provide some written information, but it would be nice to have the tours in two languages- it's not difficult to tell the same info in Czech and after that in English.

Stunning historical chateau, woth visitting and recommended for everyone. The surrounding park and gardens is huge and cool walk during summer heats.

I was with a kid, so we didn't take any guided tour inside the castle. Just climbed the tower and walked in the park around. And it was already worth visiting. Beautiful castle.

The tour of the castle is well worth it. The interior is beautiful and richly furnished. Photographs, however are not allowed. It is very cold inside; bring a sweatshirt at least!

Absolutely gorgeous! Well worth seeing. We drove an hour to see it and was not disappointed.

Decent walk up the hill from the carpark, but definitely worth the visit. We booked a tour and while it was a Czech tour, found the English tour notes very well written and I followed along. The steps up the top of the tower were good, and view from the top was great. Can't take photos inside the castle, so I definitely wished I could look back at some of the things I saw.

A nice City, we were there during pretty bad weather and hence it was not crowded at all. Really nice Castle even from outside. Kept in very good condition. Definitely worth to come and visit. Down the road there is big paid parking. Why4. There is more beautiful castle we have seen few days later in Krumlov.

Beautiful, well maintained Palace. 2 local people advised it is worth the trip up, and we agree. We did not have time to tour inside and out, so we opted for walking around outside, and there is no charge for that. Even in early season, the grounds and gardens are very nice. Walking up to the castle from the streets below is steep. If you have mobility concerns, you may want to see if you can get a ride up.
