Wonderful monastery, containing three diferent areas (all on one ticket) the chapel, the library and the conventThe chapel was closed for a service so we could only enter into the rear area. This still provided great views.The next section is the most well known area, the library. The libary is made up for two stunning area's. Unfortunately you can only stand at the door way and not actually enter. It is still non the less unmissable.The last area seems to be missed out by the other tourists visting when I went. The convent is situated a short walk away from the other two areas. It is over two levels, the ground floor allows access to the original rooms of the monastery which are stunning and left me in awe. There are also toilets which may provide relief to people wanting to continue onto the castle or observation tower. On the second floor is a vast and varied art collection. These are mainly religious art works but are of a great historical significance.

Very pretty library. You can’t walk into the actual space but you can take a picture and there is a cool exhibit before the main room. I really enjoyed the visit and the entire monastery is very nice.

The people who work there (similar to a lot of places in Prague) are not nice or helpful. We were looking for the brewery and were answered very rudely.As for it being the best beer in Czech Republic... we've had better...

Wow, wow, wow … even people that don’t read as much as I do should be inspired by the library here. Amazing!!! Buying tickets can be a bit interesting if you come from the funicular … straight up easy if you come in the front gate though!!!

You would never have known that the most gorgeous library was housed in this humble and unassuming monastery. This is a MUST visit if you are in Prague.

It is a beautiful place, we have bought a combined ticket to see the art gallery, the church and the library. I was disapointed not to be able to see the church and the library, as you are only allowed to watch the inside from the entrance, there isn't even a small corridor inside for people to take a closer look, which is a pitty because both the church and the library seem very impressive.

We booked the private tour through the libraries and were blown away by how stunning they were. Our guide Jitka was lovely and gave a really interesting and entertaining tour, although it was a tad on the expensive side!

It is preferable to get a ticket for three locations at once as it turns out to be cheaper. Unfortunately, everything can be viewed from the entrance doors. It’s all fenced off. There is a fascinating exhibition of antique books in the library. An interesting art gallery is also available. There is an incredible courtyard next to the gallery, a captivating view of the city. Additionally, there is a pub on the premises where you can grab a bite to eat. I recommend trying the ribs in a sweet marinade. However, make sure to tally up your bill independently as they tried to deceive us.
