The roasted duck was awesome. But there were no other guests when we arrived. Only one type of beer.

Personally I don't like Czech cuisine (heavy, meat and starch, no veggies - in fact traditional Czech cuisine doesn't like me because it turn me into a very fat goose). I suppose that this is a good place if your body likes that type of cuisine... Mine doesn't.

You must apply some serious technique for the duck to be this dry (cold in the middle too). We were the only table in the restaurant. The restaurant has super nice decor. The beer was good

A quirky place full of odd things. Polite and fast service. The food was rather good, the suckling pig roast is excellent. Good beer (as everywhere in Prague) and nice desert. The restaurant was quite empty and I can't really figure it out why. A must try experience.

Not worth visiting. It survives only because of the false fame as Svejk's place in my opinion. We came around 9 pm and it was completely empty and a sad place... Waiter was trying to convince to order diner. We had beer and run away not to waste time...

A well known pub with hearty food. Normally teeming with bth locals and tourists alike but nearly empty on our last visit, just before xmas eve. Great ale (light and dark), though if you are after variety, this may not be your fare. Would recommend sharing the main meat dishes as the portions are quite large.!

it was not very tasty, but expensive, we took a set for 6 people, the duck meat was old and smelly, the food does not match the price, the service is good, but I do not recommend the establishment

Sadly, this was a dissapointment. The service was good, however food was prepared in literally 2 minutes (there was no one else in the restauarant!) And was greatly overpriced (attached reciept) they ask for a tip at the end which isn't customary in Czechia. Food wasn't bad but for the price was underwhelming.

Very tasty traditional food and very nice atmosphere.Restaurant recommended. It has a very nice variety of starters that you can also buy packaged for home and are otherwise hard to find.
