Wanted to schedule an appointment, but nurse hang out the phone after asking if she speaks English (asked on Czech, which I speak moderately, but for serious health issues prefer use of English).

I went to INEP seeking a diagnosis of ADHD but the psychologist, Dr. Smotek insisted on focusing on issues from my past that had nothing to do with the current issues I was asking about and ended up misdiagnosing me with something I wasn't seeking treatment for. I think that if I wasn't a woman I wouldn't have been treated as having emotional issues

When the neurology department got closed in Na Františku Hospital, I started to visit mine neurologist here. Nice environment and pleasant atmosphere. I like notifications few days ago, before my scheduled visit. Thanks ;-)

Despite being located in an old building, the institute looks very modern and is surprisingly easy to navigate. The medical staff are very professional and nice. As of February 2022 they also offer reservation based vaccination against COVID-19.

the doctors are great and decent professionals. BUT the terrible woman on the reception can easily be the whole reason to start seeing a therapist. she is a quintessence of Czech national bigotry, lack of compassion and underdeveloped village mentality. she will simply DROP THE PHONE if you will dare to speak with her in English (even tho the clinic gives services in English). She consequently dropped the phone on me for 5 times. When I called the number of the pharmacy that has a spare door with this reception, the pharmacist told me that they know that she is difficult". This is incredible that it is normal for everybody that she is difficult. I want to remind that we are still speaking about the psychiatric clinic. I spoke with everyone I could about this indecent

Not impressed, doctors made me fill out a long form detailing my life history, that took hours to finish, so before I came in they would have an idea of what's up with me. I saw two therapists and neither of them had read it before my appointment, and neither seemed very compatible to me either.

Helpful staff - receptionist are a great help with finding me free slots etc. The doctors are professionals. I have an experience with their neurologist -> doctor Fialova is brilliant, with psychological analysis and now with psychiatric help.

I was seeing MuDr. Fialkovíčová for several months to manage my ADHD. She was fine, however the process of her leaving has left a sour taste in my mouth. If you’re gonna book an appointment, it’s better to have a czech speaker with you to help. When I called, I made sure to ask politely-in czech-if they spoke English. The clerk still continued asking me something in czech, and when I once again asked if they speak English, she started screaming “Halo? Halo?! Halo!??” into the phone as if she couldn’t understand what I was asking. I called once again an hour later, getting straight to the point this time and asking to book an appointment. The clerk gave me a lousy “oh.” and immediately hung up on me. An institute that claims to provide services in English can at the very least forward the call to another colleague, hanging up on a client is extremely demeaning and unprofessional. I called one more time, to express my displease with how the language barrier was handled poorly, in hopes that an English speaking clerk would pick up—and thankfully this time an English speaking clerk picked up. I began telling her that I was flat out hung up on, but she interrupted me and said it must have been a network error. It was not a network error, how could it be when they responded with an “oh.” and hung up immediately after I finished my question? It was insulting that they expected me to believe that. If your clients are expressing their discomfort with the service, your job isn’t to make excuses and lie to your clients—your job is to solve the communication issue in an adequate and professional manner. I’m not the first person to have this issue either, I’ve read a couple of other reviews of people dealing with the same situation. As an institute that promotes itself as accessible to foreigners and claims to provide services in English, you sure know how to make us non-czech speakers feel like a nuisance.
