International Montessori School Of Prague (IMSP)

IMSP is truly a great Montessori school. Our children enjoy going there and have developed into very independent and confident children. I would say that their inclusivity is great. This is a place where they follow the child. They adapt to each children's needs and guide them. It has a great community, the staff and the parents are really approachable and open-minded. It's a diverse place.The classrooms are well equipped, the teachers are prepared and the whole staff is really caring. We feel that they have our children's best interests at heart. We feel very supported in our parenting journey.The school is in a great location next to a forest and has a big and really nice playground. Their policy of there's no such thing as bad weather" is great. Kids go outside to play rain or shine.The ability to see your child's progress online and see their everyday pictures is also great. It brings us joy to see them enjoying themselves while working."

IMSP is the ideal school for parents looking for a combination of perfect English and Montessori education. Both of our children started in the toddler program, which focuses more on the process of daily activities and guidance to independence. The follow-up preschool program includes traditional preschool preparation as well as specific Montessori elements. We particularly value education for good manners. Teaching is done through native speakers, so the children pick up English very early - with native speaker pronunciation. We definitely recommend IMSP!

Our daughter is attending the primary program at IMSP, she is very happy there, and we are really in love with the school! The team behind this school is very impressive, and competent. The school is very progressive thinking and in many ways it’s very much ahead of its time. It’s a great community and we are very happy to be part of it.

Our six year old son is starting his fourth year at IMSP in September and our three year old daughter will be making the transition from Toddlers to Primary at the same time. We have nothing but praise for the IMSP team. All the teachers and staff give 100% all the time into creating an enriching and wonderful learning environment for the children. We have seen both of our children make huge strides in terms of their confidence and love of learning. 5 stars!

We are very satisfied with a work of international Montessori preschool! The approach of educators to our children is very professional! The kids are interested in going to the preschool every morning and they return full of positive emotions. It is the best preschool in the Czech Republic in our opinion.

My daughter has attended for 2 years now IMSP. She absolutely loves the school and the staff. Her teachers are a great encouragement and the academic program is great. I love how every week we receive pictures to see what kind of activities she does and how we can follow her progress!

My two children went to IMSP from toddlers till upper elementary. My youngest is to attend toddlers next year... :-) I cannot think of a better place for my children. Loving and caring environment, where the kids do not get only the educational stuff, but also are helped to support their own curiosity, motivation ... The kids have friends for life. And the same applies for parents. The community around the school is welcoming and so friendly, it just becomes part of your family.

As soon as I first walked in this place, I was hooked (let alone my daughter). All the staff treat the children like equals and act as their guides, instead of pointless scolding or patronising. The classrooms are full of stimulating toys and activities, everything is child-sized (shelves, kitchen sink etc.) English is the universal language there and though my daughter could speak English before, I can tell that her language skills have gone up considerably. She always seems excited about her day spent there. She generally likes the food that is served. To me, the parent, everyone in the school has always been very attentive and helpful. We also enjoy the extra-curricular events that the school occasionally organizes. Unlike some other kindergartens we visited, we can see exactly what the tuition fee goes into and it is money well spent. I can heartily recommend this place to anyone who wants their kids to grow into independent people with a head start in life.

I have spend some time researching and visiting preschools. I knew from the first meeting, that IMSP is gonna be the place for our son and his first nursery experience. I am very conscious about who will teach and influence our son. After few weeks of adaption - this was it! I see with how much care and effort teachers and all the staff care about these little human beings who will become our next generation. I what was also very important for me - they see the whole picture >> they care about themselves so they can take care of others.

Our son started in the toddler class last year and he is in primary now, soon finishing his second year at IMSP. At this point I cannot imagine him going to any other school. He really enjoys his time here, loves the school and the teachers. I get him, I would like to go to this school if I could turn back time :D The kindness of everyone here makes it feel like we are all part of a big family and since the school is small, I do feel like I know most people here.As for what children can learn here, I cannot stress enough the importance of social intelligence, understanding emotions, speaking up/being a great communicator and staying curious. I have no idea what profession will be the best choice for when my son grows up, but I'm sure all these skills will be super beneficial for him to deal with whatever life has in store. I was especially delighted to see Refusing and disagreeing as one of the skills, as funny as this might sound at first, it is a clear sign for me of how the school is not interested in raising obedient workers, but rather wants to see the kids become critical thinkers who know they can question everything, can build their own opinion and impact their and others lives to change it for the better.
