Nice exhibition and beautiful postcards to buy

The postcards here are the cheapest in Prague.

Stuck between two and three stars. The post cards are really great compared to some of the street vendor’s wares. They even have a couple of tables inside to write a word or two for the folks back home. There is something so much more personal and romantic about sending a hand written card back home. The bad is the staff. Well, one young lady in particular was completely put off by a damn tourist working to grasp a cultural, language, and foreign postal knowledge barrier. She sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and sent me off with a wave of her hand like I was a street beggar. The adjacent young man tried to help but as soon as he asked if I was American the young lady made him sit back down. My wife walked out because she saw the ladies treatment of me and knew how I would react if I were “pushed”. The removal of this unpleasant employee would be a benefit. Especially in such a heavily tourist laden area. A real shame she works there.

Kind staff. Also there is a special stamp.

Great post office because it has a postal museum attached to it.

While it doesn’t have the most comprehensive collection of postcards, there’s a nice selection of commemorative stamps and ordinary local and international stamps. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and it’s overall a nice place to drop off some postcards to send home from Prague Castle
