Přírodní park Šárka - Lysolaje Praha 6

O podniku

It is a small hidden gem a paradise worth a visit, even if just for a few hours. Easily accessible by public transport (Metro A and Tram). You feel like you are away in the nature, surrounded by mountains and yet you are still in Prague. Beautiful views, you can walk, run, hike, bike even mountain climb. There is also a small lake and a public swimming pool (open only in the summer). Most of the places easily accessible even with small kids or a pram. Highly recommended any time!

Natural Park Lysolaje is found in the NW of Prague. It is a protected forest expanse of 1005 ha that contains a lake, natural swimming pool, and walking trails around craggy peaks, offering beatiful city views. This place is a home to many protected species of flora and fauna as well as an archeological research area with items dating 5000 years back. Also, this park contains a small chapel built in 1863 and devoted to the Virgin Mary in gratitude for answered prayers during an especially dry period when a water miraculously and suddenly sprang from the ground. This natural water is of a very high quality and one of the main sources of drinking water in Prague till today.

Layers upon layers of daydream quality walking trails adorn this hillside park, overlooking the majesty of Prague. I found myself wandering through public orchards, through concentric rose gardens, and portals breaching defensive ramparts. Do yourself a favor, while in Prague, escape the business of the city for a while - elevate your body and mind by exploring this place.

Lush green parkland and wide open spaces for walkers and cyclists alike. If going by tram, take No. 26 and get off at Divoka Sarka terminus. Note the pin drop for Divoka Sarka is wrong so beware of taking a taxi. There's a McDonald's near the terminus and a country road on the right. Take the road and then steps on the right to the reservoir.A steep path takes you to the top of the hill giving beautiful panoramic views of Prague and the countryside. There are no food or drink kiosks inside the park or public toilets. Plenty of walking and mountain bike trails, fields and hills to explore.

Located in Praha 6 in direction to the airport lies this beautiful natural park. There are hills, cliffs and canyons here with a lake on one side and a stream flowing through the park. Nice place for picnic, walk or a rest, quite busy on weekends.

Amazing place within city (Prague) limits. Natural park with forest, deep canyon and rocky cliffs. At the top of the cliffs are smaller or larger grassy fields with bare rocks. Inviting to sit and enjoy quiet nature within city. Take you camera if you like photography, or just put on sneakers and run through... Relax

Beautiful, especially in the snow! It is a huge park perfect for dogs, only 30 minutes away from the centre of Prague if you take the tram. Be careful when there's snow though as it can become very slippery. There are many paths and although at first it man give the impression that there are a lot of people you quickly come to be alone as the park is so big.

varied terrain with meandering streams nice walking area that is generally fairly quiet given the fact that it is located in the city many height differences and for the summer there is a beautiful swimming pool that can only be reached on foot good connections with public transport and there there is also a large parking lot
