This place is amazing if you are interested in human evolution, both biological and cultural. I have the impression there was good consultation with biological anthropologists, archaeologists, and possibly other specialists. The signs are almost all in Czech, though. Google lens came in very handy. I would have appreciated the possibility of accessing guide books or audio books in other languages, even if there would have been a fee.

Fantastic exhibitions! Family friendly, wheelchair accessible museum has it all. Easy to reach by car or public transport. Whole experience is approximately 1.5 hours, highly recommended. Family rates available too

Sadly disappointing. Specially for foreigners. Most texts don't have an English version, most sculptures here broken, they offered an English audio guide, but most numbers on the exhibit were torn apart. The best part was the costumer service.

It is a small museum in the middle of a wooded area. Its design with four floors (a basement).On the ground floor of the museum is a ticketing place with a drink counter. The basement is displaying some artifacts of oil paintings (original). On the second floor are some of the primates' skeleton and Lucy's skeleton. On the third and fourth floors there will be more exhibits in glass cabinets.

Nice museum. Peaceful and quite. The exhibits are laid out nicely. Interesting collection. Some will give you the presance of the neanderthals. Plenty of skulls. Brno likes it's Bones.

This is an iconic pavilion from 1960s, the section of MZM (Moravian Muzeum) that covers prehistoric archaeology and paleontology. The main attraction is a life sized reconstruction of a Mammoth and her calf.

If you would like to discover more about prehistoric humans who lived in the area of southern moravia this is the best place. Museum which provides insights to life of ancient people based on regional excavations.

It was actually way more interesting that I thought at the beginning. The mammut on display is pretty impressive. The collection of bones and vase is nice, would be even better with at least a small translation in English..

Wonderful museum.Very good information given for complete human evolution amd further development.It makes us understand that we all same , we all are from common origin.Well maintained objects.Guided tour will very much helpful.
