In my opinion, TIS has a really high educational quality. Some teachers have made me feel like i can achieve anything academically and restored my belief in myself and the joy of learning! the friendships you make are forever :)

I spent nearly all of my secondary school education at Townshend as well as my primary years. I gained long lasting friendships that I haven't made at any other schools. However, the academic side of Townshend is suffering. When I was in Level 2/year 11 many amazing teachers left and others were made to teach subjects that they never had before causing the students to suffer. It meant that my academics began to fail as well as the majority of my classmates. When I transferred to another school my former classmates told me that the quality was still declining and many students were forced to retake their exams the following year. For this reason studying at this school is an academic gamble but I loved it socially and my closest friends are those that I made at Townshend.

Left this school having experienced a new standard of abuse, discrimination, and toxicity. Even though the school presented strong opportunities for growth and development as well as creating good friendships, they have a very poor quality of professionalism amongst teachers in both education levels and social environment. Townshend International School is providing top level education throughout the year, and during the summer they offer unique educational programs for youth from around the world. This school is changing the world for the better!

I went to this school for 3 years & graduated in 2013. Before I went to Townshend I was a very troubled kid, and this school was exactly what I needed to boost my self esteem and prepare me for the real world. I'm extremely grateful for having had the opportunity to attend Townshend International School, and I can promise you that every single good review about this school comes directly from their hearts. Same with mine. I can't say enough good things about my time here. The only downside was living so far away from my family; since I'm from the US I only got to see them 2x per year. Luckily, during my time here, both the staff & my fellow students became my 2nd family - a true home away from home." Some of my closest friends to this day are people I met while I attended Townshend. I went from a failing student at public schools in the US to getting consistent A's and B's in my first year here

No matter what people say, Townshend is a great place and has helped me grow in many ways.I came to this school when I was only 12, and I still see my decision to move from Brazil to Czech Republic as one of the best decisions in my life.I have made many friends throughout the years, and those friends I now consider family.Townshend feels like home to me, and I hope to see this school prospering more and more throughout the years.

I’ve spent 5 years at the school (because I chose to) and those years, without a doubt, were one big highlight. It’s a special place that is unique in nature. While it is not perfect, because no place is, I’ve never regretted going to the school, it’s my second (if not first) home and the people I met there are now my family

Townshend is, without doubt, the place that has helped me shape who I am today the most. In the 4 years I spent at Townshend I was able to not only become more confident in myself, but also in shaping a correct view of what I wanted to do with my life. Townshend does not only help you grow academically, but it also helps you grow as a human being, if only you let it do its magic. As a student I met amazing teachers who were determined to see me succeed (some of which are still very much part of the Townshend community!), I met amazing friends who I can testify, after over 10 years of friendships, are life long friends, and I met myself, figuring out who I was and who I wanted to be. Going through 4 years of boarding school is quite a tough task, but I am glad I spent this 4 years in an environment where I felt cared for by my peer and teachers. After I graduated in 2014 I completed my degree and decided to come back to work at Townshend. As a staff member it was enlightening and refreshing to see the other side of the coin. The effort the staff puts in to make the Townshend machine work is remarkable, and you can see passion is what drove my fellow coworkers, as well as what drove me, to make things happen. Townshend has positively changed many lives throughout the years, I am glad I was there to see it. I am looking forward to visiting campus, meeting the new students and staff, and take it all in. Although not perfect, this school still holds a very special place in my heart.

I have spent 3 years of my education in Townshend, and I can not recommend it enough. If you decide to study here, you will end with:- An outstanding academic education with the world-recognized Cambridge curriculum, taught by teachers that care about you.- Friends from all over the world that will accompany you forever.- Developed life skills useful for a post-high school life.- A great experience.All while living in an atmosphere where your morals and virtues can develop, thanks to the emphasis and efforts that Townshend puts on this essential matter.

I have spent more than 5 years here. Best time of my life . Thanks to Townshend I have a second family in CZ and around the world ! Amazing community.
