It's a beautiful place to visit. We had such a nice walk around the castle. Me & my kids love visiting this stunning castle. Looking forward to be back during the opening season!

Absolutely stunningly beautiful castle! It has a very interesting history. A great place to visit. There are many historical sites in the area so I definitely recommend visiting to anyone who likes history and castles.

We visited Červená Lhota island castle during hot summer weekend and it was not very busy there. We did not go inside the castle and just enjoyed a short walk around the parkland. The nature is rich there, there is lot of shade so one can hide from the sun light.There are few booths with toys, refreshments and souvenirs. Apart from that, you can find cheap toilets and two bistros.

Red (=červená) castle :) Cute place but you'll need a car to go there. You must pay to park. Lot of people. It is nice to walk around the castle (around the lake). It can be a nice step during the day (many other things to do within this region).

One of the most famous and nicest chateaus in the Czech Republic. What a pity that there was no water in the pond. Still we enjoyed our stay and visited the inside premises of the building itself. Definitely worth visiting.

One of the most beautiful castles in the Czech Republic. The interiors are interesting and in its own way quite messy and witty and seem as if they're beaming with life.I enjoyed the castle quite a bit, though our tour guide was quite the slow talker, which I didn't like as much but that is only my own preference.I recommend visiting this castle if you're in the vicinity.

An 1h and a half from Český Krumlov. Perfect day trip if you like to spend time in the beautiful nature or exploring castles. The castle and the surrounding area are very good managed. There are plenty of souvenir shops, coffee bars, even hotels. Parking is available for 60kr. Toilet costs 5kr which is hilarious but inside is clean. I did enjoyed the area and I took a lot of photos. Gorgeous place!

Excellent trip with the kids, even made at the beginning of December (by that time parking was free of charge, otherwise it's 60 Czk). Nice walk around the lake (1 km, follow yellow marking). Spectacular views possibly every season. Check if guided tour inside is provided, it's about 40 minutes, we'll prepared and even kids liked it (in December it was focused on Xmas habits of nobel family).

A very very beautiful waterside red castle!It is advisable to hike, fish, sunbathe, enjoy the scenery, or just to daze. Of cause, the best thing should be done is to take photo again and again with continuous surprises.

Beautiful castleBut nothing is aroundThe castle area is very pretty but there’s not much going on aroundThe castle itself is very beautiful thoYou can park a 2 minute walk from the castle for like 20kč ( 0,8€ )The lake you see in pretty much all the pictures is currently without all it’s water due to technical reasons
